Had an appointment to remove protective paint shield on the hood of 2011 Camry. After 2 hours I was told it's going very slow. I feel like they didn't start on my car at the appointment time. I was told the hood will need touching up before a new protective shield can be put on. When he told me my car was ready, the headlights had a milky white substance running all over them. I asked if this would come off and was told yes when you take it to a car wash. I told him I want it off before I leave. My car had to go to the back again and they restored the headlights using sandpaper. This was not going to come off and they knew that. The hood was so scratched from using a tool to remove the shield that the whole hood and front fenders had to be repainted. The body shop that I took it to told me I should have brought it to them first and they would have buffed the shield off. Very disappointed in the care & service I received. I could keep going about this but nothing good I can say. More

My service tech, Carl, called and told me the recall was ready to go and asked if he could proceed with ordering the parts. I have not had the recall fixed as of yet. Service rep was excellent but when I went to the cashier they tried to overcharge me. If I did not look over the bill I would have paid an extra 100 over what I was quoted.
