Used to be good I have been a loyal customer of Toyota for years. In the past 5 years I've purchased a 2014 highlander, a 2014 Ford f150 supercars EcoBoost, and jus I have been a loyal customer of Toyota for years. In the past 5 years I've purchased a 2014 highlander, a 2014 Ford f150 supercars EcoBoost, and just recently a 2015 jeep wrangler. I've referred 4 people, 2 of which paid cash for a Corolla and aTacoma. Toyota of scranton was absolutely great with the first 2 but the third has been different from day one. when I purchased the jeep I was told it came with a hard top, but the manager said it must be in the back and I'de be contacted to pick it up. the next day when I didn't hear from them I called and they said they made a mistake and shouldn't have been told it came with one. that's a 2 thousand dollar mistake I just ate because all my previous experiences have been so good. I bought a warranty with my jeep for an additional 3k. the manager told me the warranty was so good that if I got a flat tire it was covered. 2 weeks ago my jeep started experiencing a death wobble when hitting potholes. they told me to have it there 730am the day after Easter. that Monday we called a few times for updates since I needed the jeep back for work Tuesday and every time was told. "they are still working on it". finally at 530 when my wife called again she was told "the guy that works on jeeps isn't here today so no one looked at it". I let that slide and the next day they finally called and said we looked it over and there is nothing wrong with it . there obviously was and these people didn't want to be bothered. I took it to kost, and they found the problem to be the steering stabilizer within 20 minutes. the jeep has been fine since. due to their laziness and lying, I won't be doing business there anymore. More
Not happy with scheduling & confused on coverage plan a bit disappointed waiting in line to drop off vehicle at 9 am....is it common practice to tell everybody to bring their vehicles in at 9am??? What is the use of even scheduling an appointment??? Also, i’m now confused at the extra warranties i purchased with my certified 2017 tundra because i wanted to get a windshield chip repaired. Toyota of Scranton didnt have their contact available, so i tried getting it done elsewhere. I had many problems with the Protectus plan & left several messages with Toyota of Scranton financial & service and got nothing but answering machines and not 1 call back—-note: i fixed the chip myself instead of dealing with the headaches. Also, car wash wasnt done (probably because i had stuff in bed) & next service sticker not placed on windshield More
