My wife and I were going to go to another dealership closer to our home that had a vehicle available that we werevinterested in. If we were not able to find what we wanted, we were going to then go to W closer to our home that had a vehicle available that we werevinterested in. If we were not able to find what we wanted, we were going to then go to Wallingford to look around. However, since it was such a beautiful day, we decided to go to Wallingford first. It turned out to be a great decision. We found a beautiful 2009 Toyota Venza that was superbly equipped, was the perfect color for us, and was affordably priced. Ron Jackson greeted us and introduced us to Celina Mason, a very cheerful young lady that was delightful to work with. We test drove and subsequently purchased the car. Paul Solomon was very easy to work with to complete the paperwork to close the deal. He was not pushy, and offered good advice. Then, it was back to Celina. I was amazed that we were able to drive the car home that very day. It was a great experience that I would gladly recommend to anyone that is considering purchasing a vehicle. We got a car, and had a great time doing it! Celina is a very intelligent young lady with whom we had a fun time. Great job Celine!!! Keep smiling! More
With very short notice (2 days before the March incentives were to expire), I contacted the Wallingford dealership after getting a quote from another Toyota dealership. Wallingford had no problem accommodating my schedule and had me come in to assess our trade-in. Their competitor didn't take it seriously that we were looking to buy two new automobiles. We went to the competitor with a quote in hand for a Nissan Rouge, and were looking to see how RAV4 would match up to the Rouge. Nothing against Wallingford, but watch out Toyota!!! $ for $ the Rouge is loaded with options compared to RAV4. I was very disappointed to find out that my headlights will not be turning off by themselves. It was standard in our Toyota Sport we were trading in... but now it's an option??? Good thing Wallingford goes ABOVE AND BEYOND offering free batteries for life, WHEN mine dies from leaving the headlights on. I have loved our Toyota engine's dependability ever since the purchase of our 1986 Chevy Nova's Toyota engine. Our "1986" Kindergarten son drove that car in college. Not one problem outside of routine maintenance... but today, I am NOT happy about that headlight option!!! Back to business... My wife and I were not treated respectably at the OTHER dealer. NOT meaning disrespected, but more like with arrogance and disbelief in respect toward our intentions of buying two cars in two days. It's almost like we had to force him (and he acted like we were a bother) to work up a quote for us. Guess it was a good quote, with a bad taste! Needless to say, Toyota of Wallingford took us seriously. They matched the price of the other Toyota dealer. They accommodated our schedule to get this deal "in the books" in time. There was no pressure with the paperwork. Paul Solomon was so great to work with. No pressure, no nonsense. Ron Jackson, my first point of contact, listened to what I was looking for, confidently thought he would get us to what/where we wanted to be, and saw the whole process through with our saleswoman Celina Moran. She was a "rookie" but compared to the other Dealership's, she knew how to take care of the customer. Given the fact that Paul said this was a very good month for Wallingford, you might think they didn't need this sale all that much. Ironically, they treated us like we were just as important as their first sale of the month. The other dealer treated us like they didn't need/want to be bothered with our sale. How many people will I tell about this? More like how many I already have... explains that Wallingford got it right!!! Hope that explains "why" in your intructions above! More

We began our search a few months back and checked out this dealership because it was open on Sunday! This was an added bonus, especially for people that work on Saturday's. Our first experience was a test drive with Elvin. He was not pushy at all...just gave us the facts! We were pleasantly surprised that no one took our information during this visit! It was completely refreshing to NOT get those annoying phone calls, after the initial visit, especially during the decision process. We came back and met with Bill Dichello who made this process completely wonderful! He found us the exact car we wanted in record time! We made the deal on A Sunday and were driving home with the car that Wednesday! Bill kept us completely informed during the "location phase." I have to add how wonderful Gloria (from the financial department) was. She was friendly, knowledgable and very organized! Overall, this dealership has so many great qualities and services! You would be silly to buy a Toyota anywhere else! More

My car is serviced here. I worked with the top people. Gloria in finance had all my paper work ready, respected my wishes and didn't pressure me. Bill was a gentleman and when I pushed him to ask for a better price he did. Steve Jr. was courteous and wanted to provide me with a good experience. Jay did try to rationalize his price and used his sales speal, but backed off when I called him on his speech, respected my opinion and worked with steve to give me a price I could live with. His drama was cute. I have come here for service for 6 years and I felt they wanted to keep my business. Of course since I was older and this is my 8th car, I am also wiser in my negotiation skills and am not the easiest person. Based on consumer reports and the Kelley blue book, I felt I got a good price, fair deal and came away happy with my decision and giving them my business. The service office has been accomodating over the last 6 years. When their was an error in charge that didn't include the coupon I handed in, Karen made it right in a timely fashion. Bob, casey and Kate have all helped me with service. The location, having a loaner available, their willingness to give me coupon or the 10 % discount with a coupon has been great. If I forgot the coupon, or had an old one, they honored it due to my history as a customer. they made the replacement of my tire worry free and handled the warrantee well. I have been two other times to this dealership, exploring buying a car, this is the first time, I felt they didn't try to high pressure me and really wanted to give me the best deal. Of all the times I have dealt with the financial people, Gloria treated me with the most respect and no hard sales. Bill was low key and I felt that steve having him work with me rather than a neophite and recognizing I was referred by the service department, insured my having a good experience. Although, Jay sales managers role trying to justify his price, he treated me with respect, was a gentleman and good humored and with my holding firm, met my needs graciously. Lastly, the receipt of my car was impressive, the car was immaculate with a new coat of paint. It was the best dealer prep of a used car, I have ever received More
