Amazing buying experience I just purchased a new Forester. The staff at Tucson Subaru were amazing. I looked at "comparable" vehicles at other dealerships. Not only was the I just purchased a new Forester. The staff at Tucson Subaru were amazing. I looked at "comparable" vehicles at other dealerships. Not only was the Subaru Forester the far superior vehicle, but the over all experience with the sales staff was much more enjoyable. Curt McHenry was extremely knowledgeable, answering my many questions. He helped me find the perfect vehicle for me and worked hard to get that perfect vehicle down to my perfect price. Everyone helped make my purchasing experience straightforward and seamless. My husband owns a Subaru that he purchased form Tucson Subaru a couple years ago. He has had nothing but amazing things to say about his experience and his car. It was on his recommendation that I went to Tucson Subaru and I'm happy I did! Very Good Experience for New Subaru Buyer I just bought a new Forester, having for decades been a Honda owner. I wanted a car to replace my minivan, now that I don't have as many small children to cart around hither and yon. I shopped around different brands, but Subaru really felt different and more impressive than the competition. I had utter confidence that I was getting a great, safe, reliable and sporty car for the money. CJ Nichols and Tim Hanson made the experience pretty seamless overall. CJ helped me figure out which Subaru would be right for me and my family. I am very happy so far with my purchase and its so nice to know I can contact him with follow up questions about the vehicle. But it was not until i met with Trent that we honed in on exactly what i needed and keeping the car affordable. I appreciated Trent's no pressure approach and guidance. The purchase went smoothly and we drove the new car home that evening. Before we left, Trent guided us through every button on the car, teaching us how to use all the features that will be important to us. I appreciate his integrity and professionalism. Service after the sale-be careful Nice as can be before money changed hands. Became a non-person after the sale. Salesman found it difficult to answer or return calls on issues. Issue were a frozen lock cylinder that was that way when I bought the car. According to the salesman, the sales manager said it wasn't covered under their warranty. That has cost me $250. Could not acquire the keyless entry code that is missing. That is going to cost me $50 at the Ford dealer. I feel like a Mark at a cheap county fair midway. Make no mistake, these are old school car dealers and should be treated as if you are buying from a For Sale By Owner. Trust nothing without verifying and check everything. There is no going back once the money is paid out. Amendment 10-23-14: After my above written review got noticed by Loren Henry (one of four sales managers), He called me and requested that I write a better review. He insisted that Tucson Subaru is not really like what I described. After I explained the before and after treatment I received, he insisted that they would reimburse for the cost of replacing the lock cylinder, stating it was the right thing to do. The check arrived on 10-22-14. He seems to have a better grasp of the big picture than his fellow Sales Manager, Terry Iseminger. Terry, allegedly, was the one who denied the claim because it wasn't covered. The bottom line is that the car still has some problems, included a CD player that "skips", the keyless entry code that wasn't provided, and a hairline crack in the plastic trim around the speedometer/tachometer, which has now become wider and now visible, These things will cost me to fix or replace. I admit that after 10 years without buying a car, I should have been more cautious and less trusting. I do own some of these poor diligence results. Do yourself a favor. If you shop at Tucson Subaru, take the time to introduce yourself to Loren Henry. It just may be the difference between a poor experience and a good one. More
Tucson Subaru is the best dealership in Tucson Last Saturday my husband and I walked into the Tucson Subaru dealership of Tucson. We had no intension of buying a car, we were just looking. We had Last Saturday my husband and I walked into the Tucson Subaru dealership of Tucson. We had no intension of buying a car, we were just looking. We had never purchased a new vehicle but I had convinced my husband that after 43 years of marriage I deserved a new car! But, the thought of going through the process of buying a car was not something that I was looking forward to. I had heard stories of sales pressure and the confusion of negotiations on the sale price. So, when Joe McNeill introduced himself and ask if he could help us, my guard went up! But in a matter of minutes I realized that Joe was simply there to help in our decision making. I appreciated his patience with us as we ask questions and drove different models. He was so considerate, making us feel like he had all day to spend with us. Then we went into his office and we went over the price of the 2015 Forester. I told Joe that I needed to look at another car from another dealership before I could go any further. I expected a less than friendly responses. That didn't happen. Joe said that he hoped that I would find the car that I wanted. He said he hoped that the car would be a Subaru and that he would look forward to talking to us later in the day. So, we did go to another dealership and I did test drive another car. The difference between Tucson Subaru and this dealership was as different as night and day. They were nothing like Tucson Subaru. The experience there was very unprofessional. We soon realized that we belonged at the Subaru dealership where we were treated like a valued customer. We called Joe and he was there waiting for us. We drove our new 2015 Subaru Forester home that night. Thank you Joe and to your team for making a car purchase enjoyable and exciting. Take my advise , if you want to see how a professional car dealership operates go to Tucson Subaru. And ask for Joe McNeill! More

The day we visited the Subaru dealership we were extremely fortunate to be met by Joe McNeill. Joe is the kind of salesperson you hope to work with...very knowledgable of the vehicles and dealership, professional and friendly in every way. Never did we feel the customary sales pressure to buy! Joe answered all our questions and was patient with our decision making process. He assisted us over several different days in finding the exact vehicle for us. After the purchase, Joe followed up to ensure we had all the information we needed on the new vehicle. We would highly encourage anyone looking for a new or used vehicle to contact Joe McNeill! We are still extremely pleased to have purchased our 2015 Forester back in July...the vehicle is fun to drive, looks terrific and truly has a quality feel to it. Lastly, after purchasing the Forester we decided to have body side moulding applied. Our experience with Justin Smith in the service department was excellent!
