Outstanding from sales/leasing to service and back again I received a promotional email from Subaru inviting me to upgrade to the current model year and Share the Love. As it happened, I was in on Monday and I received a promotional email from Subaru inviting me to upgrade to the current model year and Share the Love. As it happened, I was in on Monday and texted CJ Nichols (he has sold us about 3 of our 8 Subarus) asking if he could beat the ad's price. When he got in, he stopped in at the waiting area and we went to his office to chat. I wasn't too interested in a new vehicle since we had a 2017 Outback with just 18,000 miles on it, but, if I could save money… We couldn't get the monthly payments to where I wanted them to be so we talked lease. We are now at a point where leasing could make sense. This is Thursday and we celebrate the arrival of our new and loaded (EyeSight, etc.) 2018 Outback. The leasing process went smoothly and quickly, as hard our last few purchases. Gone are the days when the signing process takes hours longer than the buying process. An unexpected outcome! I have a 2014 Subaru Forester. I had and issue with my drivers side visor; the flap over the mirror was beginning to get loose and was starting to ha I have a 2014 Subaru Forester. I had and issue with my drivers side visor; the flap over the mirror was beginning to get loose and was starting to hang down. I contacted your service department and ended up speaking with Jason Mumma. I explained my situation. He found that this item was not eligible under my extended warranty and quoted an estimated price. He said that he would check with his service manager to see if they might be able to comp the item. I was shocked by this and wasn't expecting it in the least. He phoned back to let me know that he got approval for it and that they ordered the part. Again, I hadn't really expected it and found myself in disbelief. Several weeks later, my son was moving his visor over when the whole thing snapped off! I couldn't believe this happened and was so embarrassed when calling back to speak with Jason about it. He was very kind and reassuring and suggested that I bring the vehicle by to take a look at it. When I got there, we discussed the need to replace it too. I had fully expected to pay for it. He told me he would see about getting a discount on it and informed me that they had the visors in stock. He asked me if I could leave my car for about an hour to which I agreed. When my car was ready he came to get me in the customer lounge and announced that they both had been comped!...I couldn't believe it! I was not expecting this in the least! I didn't ask for this but he went out of his way on my behalf! I was so incredibly grateful as it is a tight time of year financially and was so relieved! This was a well timed gift I wasn't expecting. I have had several dealings with your location now which have all been good. From your salesmen (Joe Micoletti) (...although I was sadly unable able to find a used vehicle there at that time that met all of my parameters and ended up buying elsewhere--will try Joe again in the future!), to your parts person (Scott Buford), to your service advisers (Jason and others). Your top notch Dealership and care of your customers is an example for other like businesses to follow. Thanks again Jason and Tucson Subaru! More
