Forget everything you thought you knew about car salesmen!!! So you walk into a car dealership: you've done your homework and you are ready to deal. That's how is all starts right? Not any more! You go online, build the car you like, submit the specs and wait for a call back. Wow, times are changing. But lucky for me, Randall Rosen called me back. In fact, he called within minutes of my internet submission/request for bid. Welcome to the tech-savvey world where smooth transitions from computers to people really works. So Randall sets up an appointment around my calendar. He's ready and waiting when I arrive and I explain that I'd like to buy my wife a birthday present and that I'd like to prepare her Honda for my son's birthday present. He could have fained excitement, but he was actualy right in the moment with us. With my little bit of self disclosure, the door was open and we were able to talk like friends. We were both human; sharing a morality and a mission. He legitimately wanted to help make the people I love happy. And he did! Fast forward...we bought a new car and Randall organized the inspection/work on the used CRV with Sam Kim in Service (who incidently is a whirlwind of efficiency and knowledge and another reason I'll not likely go anywhere else). When we showed up to surprise my son with the old CRV (I had told him that we had traded it in for the new one) Randall had the car cleaned and had a huge red bow on it. A fantastic memory was made that day and Randall was a part of it. He didn't need to do it. He did it because he's a good man. More
