After 15 minutes we were introduced to Brandon Brabec. We knew exactly what vehicle we were going in for so Brandon showed us a 2017 White Honda Pilot Touring. He answered all my questions, thoroughly showed me all of the features, had me take the vehicle for a test drive, asked me questions, made sure I was completely happy and a couple of hours later we were the proud owners of that White Honda Pilot Touring! I test drove 2 different trim levels of the Accord and Brandon was very accommodating when I emailed him asking for information on a different trim level than what we test drove and priced out. Proffessional, friendly, and honest This was my first time buying a new car after having used cars my entire adult life. I was apprehensive about the notorious haggling ahead, but excit This was my first time buying a new car after having used cars my entire adult life. I was apprehensive about the notorious haggling ahead, but excited about getting a car that has all the modern gizmos. My 2004 Odyssey was the newest car I had ever owned. What I experienced was far better than I expected. I thought I would start by test driving a Civic with my 12 year old daughter. We met Camille who ended up sticking with us throughout the whole car buying process. She was in no hurry, gave us no pressure, took us out in two different cars, and recognized we were primarily having some fun in our first visit and had a lot of fun with us as I experimented with the 12 speaker sound system, and all the other connectivity with our iphones, bluetooth... I was going to think about the Civic for a month and we went on vacation with our 2004 Odyssey. It broke down and needed $3700 in repairs. I talked to the dealer where we were, thinking maybe I would buy a new car from them if the price was right. They were going to charge me almost $40,000 for a 2016 Honda SE. They inflated the cost of everything. Fortunately, I was able to see this because I had already been talking to Camille. I called her and also got in touch with James, the sales manager. I asked them what they would charge and got a quote 10,000 less! Unbelievable! And James explained how I could sell my old odyssey to the dealer and what I could expect to get for it. The dealer in Florida promised me that I would get back to Chicago and realize I had been scammed and would face all of these added/hidden costs. I came back and paid exactly what James said I would. I had taken my old Odyssey in a couple times for service and was impressed with how professional every person was in the Service department. Very different from the service department of the dealer in Florida. Valley Honda has been so friendly, honest, and professional with me in every way. "Excellence" is the word to describe this dealership. I will HIGHLY recommend them to anyone. More
