Recent Pilot Purchase I recently purchased a Pilot Elite from Dave Kemp. I have purchased numerous cars in my life, and I must say that this purchase has been by far the ea I recently purchased a Pilot Elite from Dave Kemp. I have purchased numerous cars in my life, and I must say that this purchase has been by far the easiest and most pleasant. I typically walk away from a purchase with a sour taste in my mouth about some, if not all, of the purchasing experience. In this case, however, I drove out of the dealership with my new car with a smile. I credit my positive experience to the professionalism and knowledge that Dave Kemp exhibited throughout the entire process. It began with my walking into the dealership, passing four salespeople who were all working on their computers. Dave was the only salesperson who looked up from their computer and said, “Good morning.” I knew I wanted to test drive a Pilot so guess who I went back to after I looked at the Pilot in the showroom? Dave was patient with my many questions and did not pressure me. I told him I was also going to test drive a Santa Fe and a Highlander. He said he understood and didn’t tell me that if I walked out of the dealership that the price he gave me wouldn’t be available again (a classic line I’ve heard way too many times). Dave always took my phone calls and answered all of my questions when I revisited the dealership three more times. I told Dave I was going to bring my son back to drive the car. He asked for his name and greeted my son by name when he came in a few days later. When I came in to pick up the car, Dave spent over 2 hours with me. He made me feel like I was his priority and that he would spend as much time as I wanted to learn about my new car. My last car was a CRV, purchased from Valley Honda. Although my sales experience wasn’t very good for that vehicle, the service department and the pristine dealership far exceeded my expectations over the 9 years I owned that amazing vehicle. In fact, whenever I was getting an oil change at the dealership, I would tell my family that I had been at the “spa.” To conclude, kuddos to Dave Kemp for allowing me to purchase my new vehicle with excitement and absolute satisfaction. I believe Nick Poole was the sales manager with whom I worked. He also was extremely professional and great to work with. More

His professionalism, understanding and accommodating approach helped my husband and I to understand the vast differences in updates from our 2004 Honda CR-V to today's highly engineered models. He answered my endless questions with patience and depth of knowledge and demonstrated the entire car three different times...once during my early visit to acquaint myself with the car, and then when my husband joined me to actually purchase it, and then when we picked up the car. He adjusts to the personalities of each buyer and makes them feel comfortable, whatever their approach to car buying. My husband is not an easy car buyer to please, and Tom's low-key style was exactly what we needed to be comfortable with the transaction.
