Let me start with I am a “tough” customer. I have a high expectation for reasonable pricing, professional behavior and attitude... starting with the salesperson, moving on to the sales manager, and finance expectation for reasonable pricing, professional behavior and attitude... starting with the salesperson, moving on to the sales manager, and finance manager. In general I do not like sales experiences. I do not like hard-sell tactics and drawn out sales games. I don’t like a salesperson telling you you are buying the best car in the world and the finance manager holding you hostage and telling you, an extended warranty, fabric and paint protection is “Critical” because without it your car will fail the day after your included warranty expires and you will pay thousands! TO MY POINT: Peter Larson, my salesman was unlike any I have ever bought from in my 40 years of buying. He is responsive, he learns your personality quickly and adjusts to your style and preferences in sales. First contact he called me from my electronic query and I told him what he was dealing with in me. I told him I wanted to talk no more than twice about a price: His offer, my offer and one fallback price. I didn’t want to go through a 2 hour to 3 day process of back and forths, then escalate to his boss, then the sales manager, general manager etc. Peter was awesome! Great price, the car had all I asked for. He saved me from sheer misery from previous sales in my life. After this sale I asked Peter how come he respected my expectations so well and he shared in general terms: We value this sale and want you to be happy and have a good experience, but we also want you to come back and bring friends etc. Well, how can I blame him for that, they want me to come back and bring my friends too, which is exactly what I intend to do. Thanks Peter, you are the best face and proof of the legitimacy and professionalism of Volvo Cars Silver Spring. More

What a professional experience from the moment we reached out to this dealership. We were put in touch with Peter Larson (sales/leasing consultant) over the phone and set a general time to meet. Once we arri out to this dealership. We were put in touch with Peter Larson (sales/leasing consultant) over the phone and set a general time to meet. Once we arrived, he greeted us with mask on (all of the staff throughout the store had them on) and after some brief intros and clarifying questions, walked us over to check out a few XC90s that fit what we were looking for. After we provided driver's license and insurance, we were off test driving (by ourselves). In between each test drive Peter had some insightful questions - and some great answers to our questions about the car. Didn't take us that long to pick one - and then Peter introduced us to Noah Greaney (who I think is the Manager). He was a pleasure to deal with. He offered us a pretty solid deal right off the bat, but after a small subtraction was agreed to - we had a deal. We also got more for our trade than we were expecting! Wait until you see the digital document signing thing in the finance office. It's this huge flatscreen/touchscreen that covers the entire top of a desk. Made signing the paperwork faster and smoother. Ms. Chow is super quick at getting the deal finished so you can get out of there in your new car. Overall, fantastic experience from start to finish - and most importantly - we LOVE this XC90. We also test drove the following in case it helps; 2021 Tahoe (really really nice but such a big thing to drive everyday), new Expedition (drives much smaller than the Tahoe even though it's just as big - super nice), new Explorer ST (sporty and fun to drive - great exhaust sound), and a Lexus GX (felt like 2012 inside - tech feels a decade behind, but the fit and finish was second to none - so luxurious).
