The service staff at Wally's that we have had the opportunity to work with have been wonderful. We needed a loaner car for the time our Titan was being serviced and they were able to get us one. We have 2 recommendations: We suggest that even though it was explained that it's Nissan's policy, it be very beneficial in the long run for the dealership to provide a loaner car at no charge, since the customer is already paying to have their vehicle repaired. The other suggestion we have is that having been in the industry all my life, we never charged our customers for diagnostic fee or for a loaner car. Any diagnostic fee was considered as part of the service/repair. This policy created a wonderful dealer/consumer raport and created many loyal customers that not only returned for their vehicle service, but, also became brand-loyal and purchased vehicles for themselves and family members. Many loyal customers also recommended the dealership to friends. So the little "loss" the dealership may take from free diagnostics and free loaner vehicles came back often 10 fold in the long run. The loaner cars actually give the customer real-time, hands on use of your product and often encouraged them to purchase one for themselves. More
