We were looking for the perfect car for my son's 19th bday and we definitely found what we were looking for. Marcos Ramos was our sales agent and he was Excellent!! Had my SLK serviced, cost $7000+ and a week later brought my E-class for maintenance. Got the loaner and a day later noticed a cut on one of the front tires. Called dealership (thinking I am doing them a fav my E-class for maintenance. Got the loaner and a day later noticed a cut on one of the front tires. Called dealership (thinking I am doing them a favor) and talked to Alex Ramirez (service consultant) and the manager of the car loaner. Was instructed to go to Mercedes in Laguna with instructions to make sure to get the invoice for reimbursement. A few days later to pickup my E class, I was told I am being charge half the cost of the new tire for the loaner car. This surprised me and I was so disappointed to hear it. Alex brought the manager Mike and I told him I thought I was doing them a favor. Mike mentioned that he is loosing money with him absorbing the cost. He then asked me why I shouldn't pay for it and I explained my side. Also remembered that the low tire pressure did show when I left the dealership. But, ignored it as it was only 34lbs. After explaining it, to my surprise Mike accused me that I messed up the tire because I drove on a pothole! He was sounding mean! I was shocked to see how this was going! I then looked at him and said we are arguing about a tire when last week I paid $7000+ for my SLK and today I am paying $5000+ for my E class and tomorrow I am planning to bring my ML350 for service and maintenance! Really! Mike paused and said okay I am letting this slide but next time you will pay when ... I will never return to Walter's Mercedes Riverside. I tried to reached the head manager about it and left messages and didn't get a return call. Nor did a get an email follow up to finish my review. They completely avoided it, like it didn't happen. Scary to think you are driving their loaner cars and you could be accused of causing something you didn't do! Beware!!! More
