This is a misrepresentation of the facts. The item was broken and is not covered by warranty. The customer was told that our dealership would not "good will" the repair at our dealership cost although we might have done a "good will repair" if the vehiclke had been purchased at our dealership. The most important part of this review is the fact that the repair is NOT COVERED BY WARRANTY due to defect

Mr. DeFeo, The service we received on our Jeep, met and exceeded our expectations, way over a "10", as it always is at WP CJD!! Chris is a phenomenal Jeep mechanic, and his work is flawless every time, no matter how challenging ! His knowledge and expertise are amazing, and we feel so lucky to have him. He did such a great job! Wow! He has our 100% customer loyalty. And then there's Rena! She is so knowledgeable and efficient, and makes us feel like royalty ! We always look forward to seeing her, she makes us feel really special! After 10 years of doing business with you, of describing the best service ever, I'm starting to run out of "praise" words for Rena and Chris, and that's about the highest compliment anyone could get! These two are the greatest examples of what you, Mr. DeFeo, are all about, what your dealership is defined by, and you are so blessed and lucky to have them! "Unbelievable Customer Service"

Franco Lombardo is the best! After having an awful experience with Eastchester Chrysler Jeep, Franco came through when we needed him most. We had leased the car through Eastchester Chrysler Jeep and when it came time to return the car, Eastchester refused to take it. We couldn't even get them to schedule an appointment. They claimed that the banks weren't picking up the cars and that they weren't accepting any more. They wouldn't even return our calls...not even the manager. Other Jeep dealerships were baffled that a dealership wouldn't take the car back from a customer who leased from them. Out of desperation, I called White Plains Jeep and thankfully found Franco. He understood the situation and even though we didn't lease from White Plains Jeep, he made our problem his priority in finding a solution. 5 days later, I was able to bring the car in with no issues. Franco's level of customer service and professionalism is unparalleled to any dealer (not just Jeep) that I have ever experienced. White Plains Jeep - You have a loyal future customer :-) Thank you Franco for everything.

"Roland in the Service Dept is top notch"

Normally I dread bringing my car into any dealership but he made the experience very easy. He always returned my calls, explained things clearly, and worked with me to get things taken care of. "Tried to charge me for services I didn’t need"

A few months I dropped my truck off to get serviced before I moved to Another state and I was informed that I needed to have front differential, transfer case, and rear differential work done on my truck which was around $700. I moved a few weeks later and took my truck into a service dept in my new state to get the work done and I was told that my truck doesn’t need front differential or transfer case work done because my truck doesn’t have it due to it being a RWD. I’m glad that the new service dept that I’m going to now is honest enough to tell me that I didn’t have to waste my money on services I didn’t need.

I'm surprised at some of the bad reviews. White Plains Jeep fixed our Grand Cherokee where the selling dealer couldn't. Back in December we brought our Jeep to a dealer in Putnam for a creaking noise in the suspension. After a test ride with a manager, he was confident of where the noise was coming from. Great, well left the vehicle there, and returned back to Westchester. Later on in the afternoon I received a call back from the dealer stating that our vehicle was ready. When I acquired about the problem, I was informed that the sway bar bushings was what was the problem, and they removed and greased them. As a bus mechanic it didn't seem right, we replace bushings when they are bad. I was assured that it solved the problem, and it was a permanent fix. Well, all was great the next day when we picked it up. The day after it was back to creaking. White Plains always did our warranty work with no problems. Why did I change is a question I don't have a answer for. I called and spoke to Chris and explained my problem. His earliest appointment was the Wednesday after Christmas. My wife dropped it off the day before, and by 10am Wednesday it was fixed. WPJ replaced the bushings, sway bar, and completed the fix before the job was supposed to be started. Over a month later our Jeep doesn't sound like a Model T going down the road.

"Fantastic experience!!"

I baught a remanufactured transmission through white plains dodge for a customer car (I have my own shop). After installing the transmission it had some minor issues, the way the warranty is written if an independent repair shop purchases and installs the transmission and there are issues they reserve the right to bring it to the dealer, which is what brought me to white plains Dodge. Before I describe my experience with this particular dealer I would like to add that they are about a 45 minute ride for me, but having had too many awful experiences with Garavel and scap (the dealers that were local to me) parts departments, I decided to try white plains, I have no customer history with them, and this transmission is literally the first part I have ever baught from them. Having been in the automotive business 15 years and knowing how hard a lot of dealers are to deal with and what some mechanics are capable of I was expecting a battle. Once I met Christopher Conticchio (I think I spelled it right) (service adviser) and Joe Cavalierri (technician), I breathed a sigh of relief, Chris was very professional and treated me like I had been a customer for years, He listened to my issues with the transmission, properly documented it, and gave me no arguements over the warranty. Joe is extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Knowing most mechanics are paid on a basis of commission, they usually don't want to waste their time talking to a customer. This was not the case with Joe, he took a test ride with me to feel the concerns, and he was more than happy to do so. After taking the test drive with Joe and discussing the issues I was having with the transmission and just in general talking about the mechanics of cars, I was 100% comfortable with him working on my customers car. I will be more than happy to take that 45 minute ride in the future because I KNOW I will get good service here.

"Subpar service, threatening staff"

Several team members were not respectful during service. There was no rental available and no arrangements were made to help me obtain a rental. Issues still remain after the repair that nessecitate further work. This used to be two stars but someone calls and threatens you when you leave reviews. Now it's one star. Avoid this place.

The lack of honesty and integrity in the complaint is best exemplified by the falsehood about a loaner/rental car. The customer was provided a loaner cat at NO CHARGE on 12/14/17. The loaner vehicle was returned on 12/22/17. THERE WAS NO CHARGE FOR THE VEHICLE. The dealership was under no obligation to provide a loaner car. The vehicle was new and purchased at another dealership. Also there was no threat. Upon receiving a two star review we reviewed the customers' service with our service team and they could not identify any failure on our part. In fact, the service adviser Chris was dismayed at the review because he felt he went above and beyond to satisfy the customer. As is our policy, we called the customer to inquire about the failure and two star review so that we could improve our process as may be necessary. The customer refused and hung up the phone. At this point the dealership made the business decision and alerted the customer that we would not accept his vehicle for any future service. This was a statement of fact and not a threat. We also asked the customer to contact us to further review the experience and reconsider our position on any future service.

"Great customer service "

As the only Westchester county dealership to receive Chryslers Customer First award for sales and service excellence, this dealership is definitely one of the best in the area. During a service visit, there were a few concerns I encountered with some of the requirements on fixing a recall, however, the staff at the dealership went above and beyond to remedy the situation. Within minutes of posting my review, the President (Augie) reached out to discuss the concerns I had. He took the time to look into the issues, speak with staff about any errors, and remedy the situation by fixing the recalls. The service department manager (Victor) was also very friendly, respectful, and professional about discussing my concerns and it is very rare that a dealer is so cooperative. The dealership reached out multiple times, prior to, during, and following my experience to ensure my expectations were fulfilled. The staff even offered to remedy the situation by providing added benefits to my future service visits. The parts department (Tony) at the dealership is also exceptional. They are very friendly, easy to work with, and always ensure the correct parts are ordered. I look forward to bringing my vehicle back to the dealership for future service needs and eventually purchasing a new Jeep from the dealership. This dealership definitely deserves the Chryslers Customer award for sales and service excellence.
