My mother in law went to buy a 2014 Nissan Rogue today. My mother in law went to buy a 2014 Nissan Rogue today. Salesman, Steven, and the finance guy were the only good things about the experience. When we first looked the car over with a fine tooth comb we found two water bottles under the back seats. Read that again, we looked the car over with a fine tooth comb! After getting the car “detailed” (I’m mad that I didn’t get a picture of that) the car was still NOT clean-front end was filthy still) So we were walking out, the deal was done and I put my mother in law’s paper work in her glove box, closed the door, and was getting ready to have my mother in law stand in front of the car for a picture when I noticed the huge gash and damage to her wheel (again we went over that car with a fine tooth comb, my husband was the one that noticed the car had clearly been wrecked previously and asked for carfax report). So I immediately stopped the salesman and showed him. He went in to get the “manager.” The manager said they would ONLY replace the one damaged tire (never mentioned said wheel). The vehicle is ALL wheel drive- the tires were NOT new. My husband (obviously upset) said that at LEAST two tires need to be replaced (since one of his employees-either the xxxx poor detailers or whoever took it for a gas fill up) caused the damage and replacing one tire on an AWD vehicle will cause alignment issues. The “manager” repeated that they would only replace ONE tire (again not mentioning the wheel). Needless to say we were LIVID and the deal was voided and we will NEVER purchase a vehicle from them. Furthermore, when we went in to void the paperwork we were explaining to the finance guy why the down payment check needed to be returned and the deal canceled the “manager” walked over to us (mother in law and I) and said that “maybe you guys missed it over” no sir we certainly did NOT but if we did (we did not) why would they be okay still not doing the right thing and at MINIMUM replace two tires?! Unrelated side note- my husband also noticed another Rogue that we looked at (again fine tooth comb) and very obviously been wrecked and the bumper had been replaced (poorly) and an “X” drawn on the left side headlight. We also asked for that Carfax report-no accident was listed. However, within a few minutes that Rogue was removed from the lot and within the 3 or so hours we were there that Rogue NEVER returned to the lot. Horrible customer service and unfortunate that THIS is the face of Nissan in Frederick, MD. I am glad we found all of this out before leaving the lot because if this is the customer service they provide, my mother in law truly lucked out in not having to deal with them further in the future! More
I recently bought an FJ Crusier form them and the entire deal went great. I had a small issue with the car but they have been fantastic and super quick to address the concern that I had.
