$250 Broken Promise - WellsK
Took my daughters 2013 BMW 328i in for service and was told BMW had abruptly discontinued the assist service on the vehicle. We were offered a $250 Visa Gift card as a goodwill concession from BMW. Card never arrived. Placed multiple phone calls to Century and was given a run around and eventually told to call BMW directly to see where the $250 card was. They knew nothing about it and said it was too late to do anything at that point. I contacted George Jones about it and his response was “Frankly, the majority of emails I receive from our customers are praising his team for taking good care of them” ”I sincerely apologize for the past experiences you described in your email”. But offered no resolution whatsoever regarding the $250 Visa Gift Card. Apparently Customer Satisfaction means absolutely NOTHING to George Jones of Century BMW of Huntsville, AL.

I usually use Mobile BMW service dept. This time I used Montgomery service dept. Luke Echols was very professional, very helpful and made me feel confident with the questions and concerns I had. Also, the shuttle driver, Raymond, could not have been any nicer. If any way possible, in the future, I would prefer using the Montgomery service dept at BMW. Thank you Luke and Raymond for helping make this a pleasant experience.

I was looking for a compact SUV. Jeff Gogal, Sales Manager and Travis Pettway, Client Advisor, listened to what I wanted and then got me into my 2018 X1. I LOVE this car. If you are looking for a compact SUV with a fun, sporty driving experience the X1 is a perfect match. The front wheel drive provides superior control in rain and around corners. I am small so I enjoy the comfort of the sport seats. The sun roof is fully operable and it has more head and leg room (verified by my 15 yr old son) than the Jaguar E Pace or the Land Rover Discovery Sport. The added bonus is I am getting better gas mileage than my 2012 VW Jetta. I definitely recommend Mobile BMW and the BMW brand.

Purchased an extended warranty with my used vehicle purchase. Once I sold the vehicle I went into the dealership to cancel the warranty on the car that was sold. I signed all the paperwork with Ron Durler and was told the refund would process and be in the mail to me in 4-12 weeks. 6 months have passed and no refund as well as my old policy on the vehicle I sold is STILL active.. I have called the dealership numerous times and left numerous voicemails with no response or call back. I have left multiple voicemails with the GM Greg Rothfeldt that have not been returned as well. The dealership is more than glad to sell you the extended warranty but not willing to be responsible in canceling the extended warranty when the vehicle is sold. I am now having to pursue legal action against this dealership for the issues listed above all because someone can NOT do their job! I would not advise anyone to do business with BMW of Birmingham now or in the future. Buyers beware!
FAILURE TO TELL THE TRUTH! - 435Girl
I was promised a loaner car by Sean Dwyer after making an appointment over a week in advance for a service appointment. When I arrived for my service, no such arrangement had been made. My reason for confirming a loaner vehicle with Sean Dwyer was because there were important matters I’d planned on handling, rather than remaining idle in a TUSCALOOSA, ALABAMA BMW LOUNGE.
When I pressed the issue with the service personnel, the lame excuse received was that since my service was basic and would only take an hour their policy is not to loan a car. That’s not what Sean Dwyer told me when setting up my appointment. Sean lied and the dealership executives at Tuscaloosa BMW appeared to NOT CARE AT ALL. Perhaps this dealership feels my business has no value because my car is still under warranty and no expectation of out of pocket expenses exist.
To add insult to injury my wait time was over 2 hours. I’M EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED IN THE DISHONESTY OF IT ALL!
