Eveeyone at Stokes was absolutely wonderful. Any questions or concerns i had, they answered and went beyond the call of duty. My salesperson was Larry and he awesome. He was top notch and he made everything hassle free. He was not pushy nor did he ever make me feel uneasy like many other dealerships have in the past. The staff was very nice, everyone greeted you with a smile, the lady, Miranda, that wrote up my sales was effecient, and a very nice and clean facility. I could not be more impressed! And they do "clobber big city prices"! Highly recommend!

I haven't done business with a car dealership in over (30) years because of the hassle you had to go through just to get the bottom line price on a vehicle. This time it was very different to my surprise.
I seen on a web site a 2015 Chrysler Town and Country that Bill Jackson had on their lot in Troy Al.
I made a call about the van and asked for a cash walking out the door price.
The price and deal was made over the phone to my surprise without any going back and forth.
My wife and I drove (130) miles to the dealership the next day and the van was already sitting out front.
The salesman that help us and went over all the feature with my wife and I was salesman Mr. Sam Johnson. He was very helpful and patient with us both.
Mr.Jamie Myrick the Finance Manager was also very helpful in going through with us and explaining all the paper work.
We decided to purchase an extended warranty which Mr Myrick took time to go over the different options that were available to us. He was most helpful in this endeavor.
Before we left Mr Johnson seen to it that their people detailed the van and as an added Bonus the dealership gave us a full tank of gas.
I know in any business you will come across people that you are unable to please. But not this time.
Again I must say this was the best experience at a dealership I have ever had in the over (50) years of buying and trading vehicles,

We live in Louisiana and just had an incredible truck buying experience at McConnell Buick GMC in Mobile, AL. Skeptical about buying out-of-market, but James Brown did a fabulous job! We negotiated the price of the vehicle as well as the trade-in over the phone which lead to a quick, easy process, w/out any hassle! I went to the dealership for tires and my door handle was broken and the service manager as well as the gm refused to fix or replace it.they wanted me to buy another after they guys broke it.the worst experience of my life with a car dealership I would never recommend this dealer nor spend a dime there.

Receive dozens of spam mails a week from this dealer, it bespeaks of a level of desperation that I find unsettling. We have called and written in to cancel this unwanted correspondence ... and were ignored in favor of a 'hard sell' sales pitch. Nope. This, -this- is what people talk about when they say 'used car salesman,' it's not a compliment guys.

I have bought a few cars before and have dealt with some shyster car dealers, but these guys hit the top of the list. A sale is only a sale if you don't try to steal the trade-in to compensate. All I can tell you about these folks is, if you go to Bill Smith to buy a car either 1) have no trade in; 2) have no negative equity in your trade; 3) have a serious pile of cash down; or 4) - probably best option..... go to another dealer......any other dealer. What a pile of crooks. Just glad I didn't make the drive to Cullman or I would have been mad.

They sold me a extended warranty that didn't cover nothing and on top of that when I went to cancel the extended warranty they charge me 1700 after I took the truck to get it fix of the exhaust fluid header and didn't cover that so I had to pay 800 out of my pocket, when the guy sold me the warranty he said that I cut cancelled it at any time no charge and that was all lies if you don't believe it go and check it out with your own eyes.
I would never do any business with them again.

New car was all as discussed and trade in value was at a fair market value wholesale. Great experience of an on line purchase. Dealer was located 100 miles from home and worth the trip. I bought a car that took 4 days to do because of errors in paperwork. Before I signed on the lines to finalize sale I asked if dents could be removed. I was told yes, here it is 6 weeks later and I can't hardly get anyone on the phone to fix this problem. I tried to call my salesman for a week an was told he was out. I called back the next week and was told he quit and they I would be called as soon as repairman was back in town. I have not heard from him yet. i am very unhappy about the purchase and wish that I had stuck to who I knew elsewhere. I feel like everyone was friendly and helpful when I was trying to purchase vehicle now they've forgotton about me! :(

I've purchased several cars from Jim Burke a few used and one new but I have to say that my most recent experience at Jim Burke was by far the best I've ever had. I'm 2,000% sure I'll be back to buy another vehicle from them. They helped me pick the correct vehicle for my credit situation and negotiate with the bank to get the down payment to a comfortable area for my pockets. I came to the dealership with a used Altima in mind and ended up leaving with a "Like-NEW" Lexus with an awesome payment of $392.00 with just $2,000.00 down. They worked hard on my deal and I am a VERY satisfied customer. The whole team was very helpful, from my sales agent to the sales manager to the finance adviser to the service technicians. I'm so proud to say my vehicle came from Jim Burke!
