Before purchasing I was leasing.
Six months ago I purchase a 2013 Jetta diesel it had just arrived in Dothan that evening ,they let me drive it home for the night, the next day I had to take it back for inspection I noticed bad tires but Chris the manager would not let the service department change out the tires. Yes I did sign all paperwork but i feel like a used car should be inspected in detail from a big corporation like Volkswagen and if something needs to be replaced do it without and charge to the customer, it's not like I did not purchase the vehicle!!!

Horrible Service Department - Buyer Beware - Moondog
Our VW GTI, which we purchased at Jack Ingram, either stays in the shop or needs to be in the shop. Our experience with the service department at this dealer could not be worse. We have bought several new cars form JI over the years but because of the horrible JI service department, we are done with them. Our car often stays in the shop for weeks at a time, even for simple issues. Our car has now been in the shop since Tuesday of this week for a simple 30 minute fix (rear window regulator). Just minutes ago we were told that they forgot to order “rivets” because they are “not reusable” so our car, which we need, will not be ready until next Tuesday. I doubt it will be ready then. So, that is one week for a less than an hour fix. But, this is an improvement over the 3 weeks it took for our water pump. Even then, our car was losing water and showing low fluid alerts, yet they could not figure out what was wrong. I told them countless times that the water pumps were prone to go out on these cars. They sent us home only for the car to keep losing fluids. Finally, I dropped it off again and miraculously they found a “tiny” whole, and replaced the water pump. Well, I was right because our car has not lost fluids since the water pump was replaced. Because of the complete circus we experience each and every time we drop our car off for service, we are done with this dealer. There are more stories, but I can’t worth forever.

Debbie and Justin are miracle workers! We recently purchased a used vehicle from another high end dealership in town and were told we only had one credit offer. Long story short....after they tried to pull a fast one, the deal was not funded and we had to turn the car back over. A friend told me to try Dean Mcrary VW. Not only did Debbie find the perfect suv for us, but Justin had us multiple finance offers! We even got approved to buy 2 vehicles! Oh, and the Dean Mcrary vehicle is 6 years newer, half the miles, and has a FOREVER warranty (oppossed to the 2yr one the other vehicle had)...for just about the same price!
