Great Car Buying Experience - Livinez
I saw a Mercedes, that I was interested in, on their website. So I sent a message asking about the features that were on the car. The next morning, John Ajluni sent me an email with a copy of the window sticker. I made an appointment, to see John, that same morning. We went on a test drive and had a pleasant conversation. When we got back to the dealership, John worked on getting a deal for the car. There was no high pressure sales pitch. We agreed on a price and, in less than two hours I had traded in my SUV and was driving my new car back home. The whole experience could not have been more pleasant. I would highly recommend John for buying your next car.

Allen Pollack in sales and Greg in finance are awesome! Friendly, efficient, not at all pushy and very knowledgeable. From the time you arrive you are treated with friendliness... there is always fresh Coffee, hot cocoa, water, sodas, fruit, power bars... and helpful staff all around. Terrible Customer Service - BobS
I purchased a used $50K vehicle from Mercedes of Flagstaff dealership. The salesman Jimmy was pleasant enough to deal with and as an out of town buyer felt everything was going well. The Saturday arrived to pick up the vehicle things started going downhill fast. I test drove the SUV and upon acceleration the check engine light illuminated. Since it was a Saturday, I was first told that they would call in a mechanic to resolve the problem. Apparently, they only have two. One was in Vegas and the other mountain biking and didn’t want to come in. Jimmy doing what he could, took the vehicle to another near-by dealership, who actually had mechanics working, to see if they could diagnose the problem, but they didn’t have the right equipment. Finally, after wasting almost the whole afternoon, I was told I would have to take the car to Phoenix on Monday to resolve the issue. This delayed my trip home and of course, cost additional to stay in Phoenix for the night. I drove to Phoenix and the dealership did fix the problem (lose hose) on Monday at no additional cost.
Actually, my biggest mistake was allowing Mercedes of Flagstaff to handle my out of state registration. I was told they could handle this for me and I thought the convenience factor was a good idea. WRONG! After my 30-day temporary tags expired I began calling and emailing the dealership. It was almost impossible to get someone to answer the phone and no one would return my email. I finally got a hold of a guy in parts and had him go find the person I needed to speak with about plates. They apparently failed to have me to sign and notarize one of the documents. They FedExed and I did the leg work to get the document notarized. I sent back via FedEx and then crickets. I once again called and emailed. Not only would no one answer the phone, but the finance people’s voice mail boxes were full and could accept a message. I finally got the receptionist once and asked for the GM leaving him a message. Crickets. Calling again now even the receptionist’s voicemail was full and still is today.
At this point I decided to call Mercedes Benz Customer Service. They were reluctant to help as it was a used car. I explained that my problem was not the car, but rather the people at the dealership who refused to respond. The customer service person was empathic and offered to call. He did get a Ms. Harris to call me and she apologized for the delay, assuring I would get the plates “any day now”. She in turn had Ms. Thomas send me a new temporary tag.
It is now 30 days later, some 90 days after I purchased the vehicle and still no plates. Calling and emailing again no answers. Finally, I get Haley Thomas the title clerk who, must have picked up the phone by accident and she tells me they needed yet another document notarized on their end and my plates should be on the way soon. I reminded her my temporary tag expired and she assured me she would send another. I guess I don’t even have to mention that I have not received it.
Presently calling, I now realize the guy in the parts department is the only person who answers his phone so I call him again and ask to be transferred to Ms. Harris. Again, by chance I connect with someone who actually answers the phone. I ask for Ms. Harris. “She is no longer with us” is the response. Now this person, a Mr. Christmas, also apologizes and agrees to help. Days later nothing. No return call, no email and no plates.
The day I was at the dealership there were literally no other customers in the place. It was like a warning sign similar to going into a restaurant with no other diners present. It’s like the whole place operates part time. Even the GM could be bothered to respond! How Mercedes Benz can claim this is a bonafide dealership when no one there cares about its customers is beyond me.
Bottom line is if you chose to deal with this place be prepared to have zero follow through and don’t let them handle your registration!
We purchased a vehicle early this summer from this store... - Falcon72
We purchased a vehicle early this summer from this store and subsequently it was involved in a collision, the insurance company totaled the vehicle. With help and guidance from our sales associate Lane Rodgers and Todd Davidson, we purchased a newer better vehicle!! I have to give this store credit in a big way, I'm so impressed with everyones positivity and overall support and attention to detail. Really can't say enough, so happy with our purchase. Mercedes Benz of arrowhead is and will always be my first choice!
Pleasantly Surprised - AK
I helped purchase a new Mercedes for my dad about 6 months ago from Gilbert Mercedes and was planning to go back there for mine, but chased the salesman around on the phone so I gave up. Went to Chandler Mercedes because they had an AMG I wanted. Figured I would see how they treated me. I did an online inquiry and Todd Frison emailed me back with the info I requested on the car. No pressure sales or out of control phone calls from them. I went in two days later and met Todd and saw the car. I got all my answers and test drove the car. Still no pressure to buy it from Todd. I made the decision to purchase the car and trade in my BMW.
The initial paperwork came in on my trade low, I felt, and I told Todd we were to far off. He went and talked to his manager, and came back with a higher trade amount. I told him I wanted more off the car price, was about $72,000 now $67,000. Ended up where I thought was fair after manager came over and talked to me personally so I purchased it.
I left it there to have a clear bra put on entire front end. Got a loaner for a few days and picked up the car after adding ceramic coating as well. The car has been back in their service now twice for clear bra issues. The last time I went to pick it up, there was still an issue with the bra installation. I was not happy to say the least, ceramic coating was already applied as well. General Manager, Mr. Kelly, came over to talk to me after I expressed my dismay to Todd. He went and got the service manager and they looked at my car together. Both determined there was an issue and they needed to fix it again. I was offered a loaner again, I declined, and they kept the car. The bra was installed a third time and I was called because Mr. Kelly thought there was still an issue, when he inspected it, and requested it be corrected again. He offered to deliver the car to me after it was ceramic coated again and also covered the charge for now ceramic coating my wheels. I am due to pick up my car this week after Mr. Kelly inspects it again.
I was treated fairly, respectfully and as I expected to be purchasing that car. The issues with the clear bra installation is from a contractor, so I am not dinging the dealership. I believe, I hope, they may be looking for a new bra installer in the near future. All of my concerns were met head on by Mr. Kelly and Todd and they worked very hard to resolve each one for me.
Vicki was very professional with my paperwork signing and helpful as well.
Highly recommend this dealership if you are looking to buy a Mercedes Benz!!!
