Unless your car is under warranty I would avoid this place like the coronavirus. I contacted them for a simple timing belt replacement was quoted a price of $765 I also inquired about the water pump replacement as normally part of replacing the timing belt and was told that they never if ever replace the water pump as a never see it go bad. I thought the price was reasonable so I went ahead and booked an appointment. When I went in and filled out the paperwork I also inquire about having a serpentine belt replaced and the cabin air filter replaced also. The cabin air filter replacement was $120 which I thought was a little high but said OK and was told by Jesus and his colleague that the serpentine belt was part of the timing belt replacement. I went ahead and authorized him to do the work. A couple hours later I get a call from Jesus saying the mechanic found that the cam seals were leaking and needed to be replaced and also that he found a leak in the coolant hose and it needed to be replaced at a cost of $300. Now mind you I always keep my motor clean and check for any leaks I had checked the day before and the motor was dry and there was no signs of any overheating or coolant. Now the price of the repair had gone from $765 to $2700. At this point I felt like a hostage knowing they already had my car apart and anything I questioned they could’ve damaged to make it look like it was an actual issue. Angrily I agreed to have the work done just to get it over with so I never have to deal with this place again. I get a call the next day saying that they were behind in work and the work on my car would not be completed till the following day so now that’s 2 day when the work was scheduled to be done in one. The day the work was supposed to be completed I had waited all day and finally I had to call them to find out when my car will be ready and was told that the car was almost ready and will be completed shortly and now the price has gone up to $3200. I told Jesus that he had quoted me a price of $2700 and he said according to my notes he said $3200 which was an out right lie. I just wanted this nightmare to be able over so I said fine I’ll be able to pick up my car. He said it was being cleaned and will be ready for me when I got there. I paid the bill and went out to get in my car and noticed that the car was dirtier than when I dropped it off and also there was oil and black marks all over my driver side floor mat. Again I just want to get out of there. I started the car and started driving away and the maintenance light came back on which was the reason I brought it in to have the timing belt replaced and the maintenance done. I went back to the service counter and was greeted loudly by some other person asked me if you could help me in a manner that was very rude. I told him I just spent $3200 and the maintenance light on my car was still on. He asked for my key and went outside did something and came back in and said oh he needed a key to turn off the maintenance light which they had the key the whole time and they should’ve been done. This dealership is one of the reasons I do not trust dealership to do any work on any of my cars and will definitely not be doing any future business with Volvo cars of Phoenix.Please do your research and read reviews before taking your car to Volvo cars of Phoenix as I would not recommend them to anyone unless your car is under warranty and then I would think twice.

I had major body work done on my car. I was asked to take the vehicle when it still had unresolved problems. Since then I have had to bring the car back to have the door adjusted, hatch adjusted, and twice because local glass shops can't get a windshield to fit correctly. Every time I get the well, we have a life time warranty just bring it back. I don't want to bring it back, I want it fixed right the first time. Nice people but very disappointed in the results. The response I get is, "I don't know why it won't fit". I expected better quality, better service, and better handling of the problem.

Paint dust on dash. Paint on under dash. Paint on rubber gaskets & glass. grease on door handles & interior leather. Glass molding was not installed correctly. Repairs to paint came off on first wash.
Not what I expected from a Lexus Repair shop. This repair was done at the Speedway Location. Have had repairs done on other Lexus here without problems.

I would not recommend this repair shop. I was in a small fender bender so I brought my car in for an estimate. Tom was very thorough as he went over the damage and repairs with me. He told me it would take four days to repair. At the top of my written estimate it says four days. There was 8.2 hours of labor and 5.1 hours of paint. I brought my car in at 8AM on Monday. Tuesday afternoon a man named Jack called me. He said my car would not be done until the following Monday. I told him that the estimate was for four days and that I needed my car. He told me he would see what he could do. I waited for hours so finally I called him back. His attitude was even though the estimate was four days, too bad. Maybe we can get it on Saturday, He kept telling me that they were closed on Sunday and I kept saying the car was supposed to be done on Thursday. He did nothing to help me until I posted on Yelp. Now he says he will try and get my car by Friday. I don't know how 13.2 hours of labor turned into 8 days. Go somewhere you can trust a written estimate.

Fantastic service! Will definitely come back. Everyone from the the courtesy driver, cashier, and service people were very pleasant and friendly. Oh, and the Danish, tea/coffee, and popcorn is a nice touch. Waiting area with big screen TVs is comfortable. Nice attention to customer needs.

Consumer beware when dealing with this shop. They are the poster child for what causes people to be leery of Auto Repair shops. It is safe to assume that most people (especially those who may not be very car literate) wonder if they are getting a fair deal or are being ripped off. If you go to San Tan Auto, I assure you that you will be ripped off. They are for lack of a better term crooks. I had a check engine light on, and over a month or so I replaced several parts. 1st the Mass Air Flow Sensor, then myself and a friend who is a ASE Cert Mechanic installed new O2 Sensors on Bank 1. I got the light again a few days later before I was able to put it through emissions, the O2’s for Bank 2 were setting off the code this time. My friend was very busy and I simply wanted to pay someone to do the O2 Sensors to avoid the hassle. I Called several places, San Tan Auto gave me what seemed like a fair estimate. I took my truck in and they took 25 min to do the repair. 1st red flag, the owner Hector, charged me the full hour when .5 hours labor would have been more fair. Red flag 2, after they pulled my truck around, they told me they had reset the codes, and this was basically the last thing left to replace to cure the code issue I was having. Yet before I even got out of the parking lot, the light popped back on, thinking they had forgotten to reset them I pulled back in and asked them to check it. They told me they were getting “another code” that was the O2 Heater code. They said I would need to bring it back to have them do diagnostics and trace it down to figure out where power issue was. Something felt wrong, so I called my friend (the mechanic) and asked him who he would recommend taking it to. He recommended a shop and I took it there. That shop (who I had a great experience with) told me that San Tan Auto had installed the wrong O2 sensor upstream on Bank 2 and that it was not even connected. It was installed, but the connector was completely different than the one on my vehicle. Clearly a certified mechanic as they represent themselves as at San Tan Auto would know they were installing the wrong part, and if they were not smart enough to figure that out they there is no chance they did not know that it could not be plugged in to the connector on my truck.
What was the end game for San Tan Auto? Install a bad part and get me to bring it back to charge me more for diagnosis not necessary so they could eventually fix it and charge me more un-necessary funds. Clearly they were scamming me and I have spent the last several weeks trying to get my money back from them and the owner Hector has only refused to acknowledge fault and repeatedly hung up on me.
I would recommend you avoid this shop, they are the worst variety of shops, one with no integrity.

Make sure if you take you vehicle for repair service don't report your repair as accident with blank area to Carfax. Very slimy dealership do not go there !!!.
