Buying a car is an important experience. It has to meet your needs. Second only to a home, it is the second biggest purchase you will probably make. and budget. The people at O'Neill's made this very easy and pleasant.
I started at their website to see what was available in my price range that fit my requirements., I called Charlie Melnick in sales and set up an appointment. Of the 2 cars I looked at, one clearly stood out and after test driving the car was sold.
I liked that there was "no game playing". Straightforward, honest man, that's Charlie Melnick.
When we picked up the car Lou, the finance man, went through all the finalized paperwork. No hidden ambiguous fees. He even had a wireless rearview camera installed at my husband's request.
Charlie put the plates on, and took time to go over all the operating features and set up the OnStar before we left the lot. Very happy experience.

I lease a Buick Enclave from Devan in Wilton, After visiting may other dealerships during my car search, Devan stands far above the rest. Searching for a car is time consuming, but Brian Johnson at Devan was honest and so helpful. Great sales team and very informative and helpful finance department. I have already recommended Devan of Wilton to friends and will continue to suggest others take a look when shopping for a new car.

I brought my Cadillac in for service, and instead got scammed. The price that was quoted, and agreed upon was raised by a significant amount, after they performed the service, without consulting me. After 30 minutes of trying to resolve the dispute, i gave up, and requested my keys. After another 45 minutes of begging my keys were finally returned. I was threatened with arrest, and the police were actually called. Allegedly I could have been charged with "theft of service" for paying only 90% of what they demanded, which was already more than the quote i agreed to. In the end i paid the full amount. Still it is disgusting instead of treating the situation with respect, I was treated like a criminal. Whether these people believed i was right, or wrong is irrelevant. There is no reason to treat a customer so horribly.

My wife and I wanted to trade in her Buick Verano for a SUV. We had specific needs because we have grandkids and visited Buick GMC of Watertown and decided quickly they didn’t deserve our business. They quickly low balled a very nice, low mileage and very well maintained trade in and piled on the extras without finding out what we needed or wanted. They thought they were slick with the $2000 interior/exterior protection package and the sales woman acted like a desperate person trying to make a sale. This experience was the classic, stereotype of a car dealership trying all the tricks to sell a vehicle. Considering GM has taken government bailouts, it’s no surprise they acted this way.
As a result of this poor sales process, we went next door and bought a Subaru. I suggest that all the sales reps at Ingersoll Auto sit and watch true professionals at Premier Subaru that took the time to get to know us and what we needed. They didn’t try to pile on the extras and act sneaky and then hound us to death looking for a sale. It was truly a great experience in a business that gets a bad rap especially when dealers like Buick GMC of Watertown epitomize bad car buying experiences.
I don’t expect this review to be seen by the general public or that this dealership even cares but they lost a sale to a dealership that truly understands its buyers and got it right and even sold us a protection package but not an inflated rate. The sales rep was relaxed and wasn’t desperate nor did he hound us with emails, texts and phone calls.

I purchase my first car it wouldnt start so i end up missing 2 days of work took it back and had them put me in a new truck 2018 afetr doing all the paper work my car payment are extremly high and to top it off they lied about my income being more than what it was and now i was trying to reach out to them to refinace or trade and they are closed im going to seek a attorney this was a predatory car place they had poor service and constantly had differnt workers i even had a sales person who took my file home and said he would meet me to bring my paper work with first vehicle in which my paper work application should have nevr left the premises after I came back months later he no longer work there and heres goes another predatory sales person who lied on my application and really didnt car after saling the second vehicle pretty much blew me off about my issues and than he was no longer there now theyre close i want to get rid of this vehicle as soon as possible !!!!!!!! THE CAR IS 2018 $34,000 AND IT HAS NO REAL FEATURES HORRIBLE !!!!!!!!!
