warrenty repair - leaky pan
Absolutely the worse dealership for service. I scheduled an appointment for leaking oil pan and blown rear shock. They ordered a gasket for the oil pan leak and a shock, which took over 3 weeks to get. Did not call to schedule appointment, so I called them after about a month. I was told 5 weeks till I could bring in for repair. That appointment was cancelled and quickest I could bring in was 3 weeks later, Memorial Day weekend. So this service department is either so understaffed they don't have a mechanic or they do not want to do warrenty work. 3 monthes to schedule a repair......really???
Called Van Drunen Ford, they had the parts, and scheduled the repair in 2 DAYS! Unfortunately the Bob Harper Ford did not see the BIG CRACK in the oil pan which also had to be replaced.
I would NEVER refer to this dealership!

Their customer service is really bad. I was told that parts will come in within a week and then a week became weekssss and NO ONE CALL to let us know. We have to call back to find out. When we called, they can't find my order and told me to bring my car back so that they can check on the parts numbers, which they should given that i was there the last time and they looked at my car. Upon my request, they checked again and then FOUND my records and told me that part would take a few MORE WEEKS!!!!!

My vehicle broke down on my way to Florida 1/16/09. I was towed to the dealership at 6am. The shop opened at 7am. The temperature was zero. There were already customers all over the place. I apologized and stated my problem. Immediately, Jack the service manager, handed my keys to a mechanic. He was able to diagnose the problem quickly--I needed a new starter. They checked their inventory and found they didn't have one. Jack called an outside supplier and found one. The dealer didn't deliver til 8am, and it was a little after 7:30. He sent the mechanic over to the supplier to get the starter. It was installed and I was on the road to Florida by 8:30. Never have I had this kind of service at a dealership and I have owned more than 27 new vehicles from a large number of dealers.
