Customer service sucks! They never call you back and their attitude about not taking care of business is terrible. Went to Suburban Audi in Farmington Hills. 100% Better service!!!!

I'm very disappointed with this dealership and their service department. Other Fox dealerships have always treated me great. This one, not so much. My traction control/ABS quit working on my A3 so I brought it in. They diagnosed it as a bad ABS Module and told me it would be approximately $1400 to fix it. $900 for the part and $500 (a couple hours to install and a couple hours for reprogramming) for labor. Its an old car and I'm cheap so I asked if they'd be offended if I just bought a part and had my a guy (a friend who works for a competitor and does some work on the side) install it. I'd still pay them to program it. They agreed, with the stipulation that there would be no warranty for the install and they couldn't guarantee that it would program if they didn't install the part. I searched the internet for a part and found a couple of good deals. I forwarded my finds to the service guy at GR Audi and he told me I had the wrong part. He then gave me the part number I should be looking for, so I restarted my search. I found a part at a dealer in Pennsylvania. That dealer shipped it to this dealer and I bought it from GR Audi (it ended up "only" costing a little over $800, instead of $900). I brought the car and part my friend and he installed it. When I gave the part to him, he took a look and told me I had the wrong part. I had a pump instead of a module. Apparently the ABS system is an assembly that consists of a few parts. A pump, a module, some sensors and a bracket. I double checked with GR Audi and they told me they were sure I had the right part since I had bought the part number they told me to buy and since they sold it to me. My guy installed it and I brought the car back to GR Audi for programming. I got a call a few days later and they told me I had installed the wrong part. I had installed a pump instead of a module. I reminded them I had asked them about this when I had it installed and they agreed they had given me the wrong part number. They say it was wrong in their system and they apologized for the confusion. I was pretty upset and asked what was going to happen now. The service guy I had been working with told me they would make it right. They would get the correct part and install it at no charge to me. Again, I would just pay for the programming after the part was installed. I figured that was fair since the module costs about the same as the pump. Everything was a-ok. A couple hours later I got a call from the service manager, Jeremy. He informed me he was taking over my case and would be "having a talk" with the guy I had been dealing with. He then informed me that if I want my car fixed at GR Audi, they will only do it if I install the entire ABS assembly ($1750) and pay for the labor and programming ($135/hour for 5-6 hours). Obviously, this really upset me. I asked if that was his only solution and he told me that's the only offer I'm getting from them. I told him I'd take my someplace else and hung up. Then I sent an e-mail to Ryan (the guy that responds to all these reviews) explaining how disappointed and upset I was with the situation. Instead of a response from Ryan, I got an e-mail from Jeremy. He apologized for the confusion and let me know they would be willing to cut me a deal and sell me the ABS assembly for their cost of $1350 and give me a deal on the labor (only $100/hour). I sent an e-mail back asking why they keep trying to sell me the whole assembly when half of it already brand new. I haven't gotten a response. The Fox group has always been good to me. They serviced my Saab for several years and have sold me a couple of cars. Bummer this Jeremy guy can't admit his teams mistake and do the right thing. They've lost a customer now.

This was our first time engaging with the Volkswagen dealership in Muskegon Michigan to deal with a very long and complicated case for our car. The reason I am writing this review is because Beth was such an amazing advocate for us. She went above and beyond to ensure that all the parties involved in our claim were updated and she was so good about calling and even texting back, even when the shop at Audi Muskegon is always so busy. She made me feel so much better about the situation and explain things in a way that made sense. I am thankful to have had her around to help with the car and keys, and also validate my feelings. Long story short my car I was ready for pick up and works beautifully. Thank you Beth.

I never write reviews (this is my first), but it is only because of the very unfair way I have been treated. I am out $2,500 for service work that I was told would be covered. I was convinced by the dealer that my 2013 S6 had a known Audi design problem that could destroy my twin turbo on 2013 S6's around the mileage that mine had. I was out of warranty, and I was told it would be $15,000 to fix if my turbo was damaged by this flaw. However, Audi had come up with a repair kit to bring my turbo up to the new design that Audi came up with to correct this problem. That Audi fix to keep their design flaw from ruining my turbo would cost me $2,500. I wasn't thrilled and asked why this wasn't a recall item. Their response was, "Sorry, it is not a recall item, however, if it does become a recall item, you will be reimbursed the $2,500". Well, I searched online for my vehicle type, and sure enough, there were many unhappy vehicle owners forced to replace their twin turbos because of this design flaw. I decided to have the dealer do the work knowing that if and when it became a recall item, I would be reimbursed. I didn't want to have a 15k bill in the future due to their flaw. A year later, this flaw became a recall item. I received a letter in the mail saying that the upgrade would be done for free, or if I had spent any money to fix any damage, that amount would be reimbursed. So all of those unhappy Audi owners that had to replace their twin turbos are getting their bills paid. I have spent two months trying to work with Audi of America and Audi of Rochester Hills (My dealer), and I was originally told "We just need to see your proof of payment". That turned into, "We are sorry, but you elected to do that service yourself, so we are not going to reimburse you any of that amount." Really? If I did nothing, I would either have the recall design fix upgrade for free, or if my turbo exploded, they would now reimburse my $15,000. However, because I did what I was recommended to do by the dealer, and was told I would be reimbursed, I am out of luck. After calmly discussing/emailing with 4 individuals over two months, nothing. Not even a good will free oil change (not that the free oil change would suffice), but at least it is a bit of an olive branch. I love my S6, and I truly really loved my experiences with the service guys and the dealership. I felt like I was always treated so well compared to other American brand dealerships. I often bragging to my friends and family about how after you go Audi, you will always go Audi. Well, the principal of this has really turned me off. Not only has this bait and switch caused me to write my first review, but I am reviewing my options for litigation which would also be a first for me. I think the dealership and Audi have a great product and put on a good face, but they truly do not care about promises made, or doing right on something as obvious as this. Very disappointed that I know have to find another brand that I can fall in love with!
