As so many reviews have stated, Sasha is an excellent motoring advisor! He made my leasing experience unusual in all the good ways. He is funny, he is personable, knowledgeable and experienced, but more than anything he is patient. You won’t be pushed into any corners, or get the idea that you're wasting his time. Sasha makes time for all your questions, and time to walk away and came back to him with more. He may give some sage advice on being practical, but then sits back or works on providing more options that might unfurl your brow while you peruse an inventory list. Sasha hopes your as happy with your mini as he is with his, that whatever choice you make is one your excited about.
When I started looking for a new vehicle, I wasn’t sure I would get one at all. I was concerned about what I could afford, What vehicle would be most helpful, and finally if I would be satisfied with the whole thing, later on down the road. I had been driving something I didn't love, and looking at used cars or new ones I still wasn't seeing a car I wanted to bother with.
It’s been a week and I have Sasha to thank every time I get behind the wheel of my new Mini, "Lapis-13". It’s precisely what i wanted, at a price I needed, and I didn’t leave a single desire on the dealership floor. I couldn’t have been so satisfied if not for his patience and warmth throughout the process. Of course, signing a lease does come down to numbers and business, which Sasha handles with transparency, but if your not 100% sold before that there’s no deal to be discuss. Also, the Mini of Manahttan dealership is different kind of place. Sasha's attitude contributes to an environment that caters to, and shares in the spirit of folks who love to drive for fun. Beyond the sale Sasha is remains interested in motoring satisfaction. I've heard a lot of horror stories and know Sasha is an exceptional person to have purchased with.
Oil Change - MiniSki
My Mini came up for her first oil change and I wanted to have it done as soon as possible. I went to Bayshore BMW not realizing they didn’t service Minis there and they called ahead to Habberstad BMW in Huntington for me (which was really nice of them btw) and they told me to come right in and see Oscar. Oscar was so nice, even sympathizing with me about getting lost. They checked me right in and found a service action that needed to be addressed. Within about 1-1/2 hour I got the Baby back with the oil changed, the service action taken care of and they even gave her a bath! The waiting room was nice and clean and Oscar updated me periodically. I will be very happy to continue to have her serviced there whenever needed. Thank you Oscar and Habberstad Mini!!

Went into the Mini Dealership with no intention of buying a Mini, but after a very knowledgeable and attentive salesperson educated us on just what a great vehicle it was, we were all in.
I'm not quite sure what the problem is with automobile dealerships in the Capital District, but with our recent experience of shopping & researching different models, we've had several disappointing interactions with sales folks. Goldstein was condescending and dismissive. the poor sap at the Armory dealership didn't know anything about the vehicle we had come to test drive & then to make matters worse, no one could get the car that we wanted to test drive to start. Plus there were dead fish floating around the indoor pond they have in their showroom!
We've had the Mini for 3 days and LOVE it. What a great, responsive, zippy, fun to drive machine this is! All we can hope is that any interaction we have with the service department will be positive.
I Love My MINI - Bgf11
I was searching for a pre-owned Countryman for a couple of months. During the search I dealt with all sorts of high pressure, "we'll finance anyone" dealerships and I had accepted the fact that I'd have to buy a car from one of these dealers because they were the only ones who seemed to ever have the colors and options I wanted. Over the course of my search my boyfriend started looking at the MINI Paceman and was referred to Mark Wyatt after the 'big' Long Island dealership told us the best they could do on price was to take off $80 and deliver the vehicle unwashed and without gas. Long story short is I wound up at Mini of Southampton and they had a certified pre-owned mini countryman with everything I wanted. Mark and George gave me a great price and I just took it. No haggling back and forth, no games; I just wanted this car and more importantly I really wanted to buy it from Mark and George. Mark got me approved for 1.9% financing on the spot and we were good to go. Unfortunately I had an issue with my license which delayed delivery about two weeks, but again George and Mark were great. They assured me my car wasn't going anywhere and I was in good hands. Eventually delivery day came and it went as smoothly as possible. Mark took a good 75 minutes showing me how everything worked and reassuring me that he was always there if I have any questions. I love my MINI and it's even more enjoyable since the buying experience was so great.
