This was one of the best car buying experiences of my life! I live in Louisville, Ky, but we’ll worth the 5+ hour drive. Austin took the time to answer all questions over the phone, send videos, and pictures at my request. The day we arrived he treated us like family, allowing us plenty of time to review and test drive the car to our liking. The vehicle totally surpassed my expectations and the actual paperwork transaction was as simple as I have ever seen. To boot, no high doc and dealer fees!! Wow, what a change, so not use to that! This well worth the drive, I highly recommend this dealership and see the pride/efforts these guys go to, as it has been passed down from 3 generations.

Bought a car from flash, who assured that it was in perfect working condition. One month later the car started having serious problems. I took it back to them THREE SEPARATE TIMES to fix the issue. Not only did they charge me 3 times without fixxing a thing but once I tried to bring it back for a FOURTH TIME flash seemed to have dropped off the face of the earth. I have called this con man 83 times in the past week and he hasn't had the business integrity to answer or return a single call or text. His assistant Ruth (although very sweet) claims that she hasn't seen flash for several weeks. The only time I spoke to him was after Ruth called. He aggreed to meet me the following day and completely stood me up and began to ignore any attempt to contact him. Apart from buying the car from flash he hasn't dealt with me at all through this process, it's been only his secretary and side dealership that has worked with me, but not resolved a thing. These people are scammers. They are only interested in taking your money and don't care what happens to you after they have it.

I’ve been in this world for 41 years in that after my time in the military I wanted a profession that would allow me to be straight and honest, therefore I became a Police Officer. Been in law enforcement for 18 yrs now and I love it. What annoys me as a man, veteran and cop is when people try to take hard earned money from hard working people. Just 6/1 my wife (school teacher) showed an interest in a Acura MDX and American Automotive Group in Mooresville N.C she called inquired and we pondered on the vehicle…the next morning Jim the owner called her at 830ish and knocked 800.00 off the price we said sold… send the information over, we had already secured financing. Then we agreed to meet at Cabela’s in fort Mill SC. Jim stated he’ll call us when the paperwork was ready to go. For several hours we was back and forth and we disregard the little details that later added up. Such as the vehicle had a 299.00 E.T.C cost, so we began to research what it was and long story short it’s anti theft mechanism that actually optional but Jim stated it was mandatory, per n.c law. Research proved that was a lie and if a dealer force you into it the dealership should be sent to the attorney general office. Once advise of that he backed that cost out. Like previously stated I’m a cop stolen vehicles are my thing….When a vehicles stolen the VIN is entered into ncic and that vehicle is flagged by law enforcement through the entire USA. Once the price is worked out they tried to add north Carolina taxes into a vehicle which was being registered in South Carolina and proclaim to back the cost out and move it into the cost of the vehicle, the wife caught that and made them add SC fee vs NC which is cheaper. This ruled it up to incompleteness…. The straw that broke the Camel back after the numbers was ran they called us 6 hrs later and stated were ready. Anyone who financed through usaa knows it only takes an HR to buy a car, I’ve brought 3 took less than an HR on all of them. We get a call from John employee of the dealership stating we here, we stated we 30 mins out, we got there no John. We called he come barreling around the corner and as the car approached I clearly see damages to the front hood as well as the left bumper poked out. I stated to John this was not in the pictures and showed it to him, they took angled photos that would not show blemishes, we called the owner “Jim” he’s in a meeting… mind u as I’m cursing like no body’s business John stated he took the pictures, that’s what he do. So I asked why didn’t Jim tell us this was damages on the car he (John) then stated you getting the car so cheap you can fix it with the difference. I spent 29k on a used car it should be flawless. I work hard for my money and honest money come rather slower and harder than fast. So the detective in me kicks in and I see John texting like a mad man, but we on hold for Jim because he’s in a “meeting” so in jump into John and find out he’s talk to Jim. Lastly I got my loan paperwork from John ripped then threw them in the back of my car and drove off. I left there went to echo auto sales got the same vehicle for 2k less 5 yr aftermarket warranty and walked in the dealership at 4 and left by 515. My sales person name was ty amazing young man. Finally the dealer fee at American Automotive Group was the highest we ran across in N.C look around. I have no reason to lie. A person is only as good as his/her word, they provided deceptive pictures, attempted to force us into cost that was optional, lie about being in meeting instead of facing the conversation with a pissed consumer, I also have screen shots of the pictures on the website and up close pictures of the ones taken from the pointless ride to meet American Automotive Group. How I’m going to handle this well I’m gonna report it to the attorney general office, better business bureau and usaa to include posting this on every social media platforms I can find. After looking at the reviews later look the names of the people that gave good reviews, it’s obvious it’s fake names and reviews.

Bought a 2008 Aston Martin DB9 Volante which 'passed PPI' - car will not pass emissions in Nevada. Carolina Exotic Cars (Carolina Cabriolet Motors) has never sent me a copy of the PPI which I have a paid receipt and invoice. Car came of the trailer with out enough gas to make it to a gas station - 1/8 mile from my home. Gas gauge is off by 65 miles. If they can pass a buck they will pass HURLE it!

So disappointed. Chris our salesman was awesome. HOWEVER... We bought a truck a week ago and every day since we bought it, something has happened. Passenger seat stopped working the next day. Trunk scraping. Noticed driver side seat doesn't heat. Next morning, truck won't start and no we did all our checks and balances to make sure we didn't leave anything on like they tried to insinuate. They told us they fully charged it. We went 3 hours from home... Now we are stranded and the truck won't start even with a jump! We've had it ONE week! This is crazy! $300 later we finally got the truck to start. The battery they assured us was okay was bad!!! Tested it 3xs at auto zone with photos to prove it!

I was on-site ready to buy a vehicle and they sold it out from under me. “ Hello Mr Nelson this is Todd from Smart Cars by Wieland the GX Lexus is out at the moment Bella let the customers take it to pre sell inspection” Sent to me moments after I called to say I was on my way with payment and insurance. I walked in the door and John looked me in the eye and said “don’t worry I was very firm with them that you were going to buy the truck”. He sent me to lunch to wait for the vehicle. John had me waiting for over 3 hours before telling me he had sold the vehicle to someone These folks lied to my face and wasted a total of 2 days and over $100 of mine. I have bought lots of cars over the years. I strongly suggest you avoid these clowns

I paid $5,701.37 for a Herd Aero bumper grill, professionally installed on my Peterbilt 579. The work was completed, I paid in full, and drove an hour back home--only to find the hood would not open fully because the bumper had been mounted too high. When I called Charlie, the boss, he said they'd fix it if I drove the truck back. I asked if they could send someone to me or at least compensate me for the time and cost of running a semi back to Pukwana. His response was, "That ain't gonna happen". About the failed professional install, he said "hey, these things happen". When Natalia at Herd Manufacturing followed up on my behalf to speak with C&S, she was told that the person who had taken the order wasn't working there anymore, so there was nothing C&S Truck Sales could do. The shop guy mounts it wrong, and C&S blames the guy that took the order. What makes this worse is that while I was waiting for my install, I heard Charlie tell an employee that one of his guys in the shop wasn't doing good enough work, and that he might need to start doing quality control on him. Sure enough, that's exactly what I got: poor work. Herd's operations and sales leader, Leo Nelson, told me it would be fair for C&S Truck Sales to compensate me for the extra time and expense to return with the truck, since they had already been paid to professionally install. When I brought that back to Charlie, his response was: "You sound like a real xxxxxxx." For a $5,700+ job, I expected professional work and professional treatment. Instead, I got a bad install, zero accountability, and open disrespect from the boss.
