Was a breeze! - Skipjack
I knew what I wanted and set an appointment online. Once I arrived I was greeted professionally and introduced to my sales consultant Trip Dunn. When looking over the vehicle I could tell Trip was very well versed in every aspect of the vehicle particularly the engine. He answered my questions and I was put at ease. I drove away from Palmetto Ford thinking what a great experience I just had. I will make sure to use Trip and the staff at Palmetto for years to come. Not to mention passing the good experience on to family, friends and coworkers. Thanks Again!
Top Reviewed Specialists At This Dealership
Excellent experience - Peg Albertson
On 4/27/19 I purchased a ford focus from John Willoughby. It was the absolute best car purchasing experience I have ever had. He was personable, knowledgeable, efficient and very helpful. The financing transaction was handled by Gerald Burke. It was painless and very efficient. He was a very nice young man and very good at his job. I will recommend this dealership and these individuals to anyone I know buying a car.
NEW NAVIGATOR - diamonds

I needed a new battery and they waited on me very quickly. - kenneth
I was completely satisfied with my visit to Ballentine. I had to only wait about 15 minutes and then I was on my way. Good job.
Wrong day Wrong dealership - Ford
Needed someone knowledgeable , didnt get it. Couldnt get a call transferr to service dept in adequate time so valuable time was lost. No one at this dealership could tell me of another reliable mechanic since they couldnt touch my car for a week and half.
They next day I retrieved my car but while waiting for my car 4 employees sitting very close to me could not or would not acknowledge my existence.
This kind of behavior is a very bad behavior considering that I work in the retail business where I acknowledge all customers. This behavior of Beach Ford of Myrtle Beach employees is a reflection of there leadership as well.
Employees that I spoke to or got help of any kind were not knowledgeable at all.
As you can tell , I am not from myrtle beach. I am from another state. Oh, a side note. Yes, I did get my car repaired 1 day later. ( Central Transmission of myrtle beach )
40 + years in the automotive business all over the country, - Crissy's car
After being a engineer and auditor in the auto industry for 40 years I have had the experience of dealing with many dealerships around the country. I would rate Tidelands Ford Lincoln as one of the top dealerships in the USA and would recommend it as the best in the Grand Strand area even if you need to drive a few extra miles to get there!
No high pressure sales. - NotASouthernBoy
After researching Ford online and checking prices of the dealers all over the area, Fairview was always cheaper. I also went on the recommendation of a coworker. I have to say, they were very nice. Not pushy at all. No high pressure sales. They seemed honest and fair. I will go back there when it's time to buy another car.
Oil change and tire rotation - Collins- Lee
John Lee is the best Service manager we’ve ever used. My wife absolutely loves him! He always goes over and above the normal. HE IS THE BEST!!
Terrible terrible customer service - Hughes
Every promise they made they broke. From Celeste Chandler, Mr Dodgett to Kip. Would not return calls after repeated tries. I went in to buy a used truck and had 2 in mind. Never got to see either of them because they were not on their lot. Typical bait and switch. They showed me a more expensive one and I did like it and ended up buying. They said there was a 12 month warranty and that they would repair a gouge on the rear quarter panel. When I went to pick up the truck a week later I was told there was not a warranty but I could purchase one. They gave me a decent price for the warranty so I accepted. When we saw that you could still see the gouge Celeste stated that they did not do a good job and that they would send someone to pick up my truck, bring it back and have it looking like there was never a gouge. I took their word, brought the truck and went back home. When I called back several times they would not return my calls. I guess I’m screwed. I went to a dealer because they generally treat their customers right. Boy was I mistaken. Do not buy a car from these people! Brutal!
