BMW 5 Series - Hazley 5 Serie
We came by to test drive the car we had requested and the salesman Paul was of great assistance. Paul was there from the beginning of the test drive until the end of purchase. He showed integrity every step if the way. Also the Sales Manager Lamar was also great, the car note wasn’t in our favor and then Lamar went and spoke again with the lender and made it work for us. We were very pleased with the service provide and will prefer other family and friends.
Treated me like family in a crisis - AttorneyBH
Service is fantastic both here and at the body shop. My car (BMW X3 which I’ve owned for over a year) was stolen and recovered and they took great care of me when I brought it there for repair. As it turned out, my car was totaled. Service, GM and sales rep (Matt Schroller) all worked together to put me in a loaner right away, and then they sold me the exact car I had with less miles for less money (new), with no money down. I have no idea how they made this happen, but they did. They literally treated me like family. I highly recommended Matt as a knowledgeable, no-nonsense sales professional. He did the work and delivered exactly what I asked for.
There are less expensive cars out there. There are plenty of places where you can save $1k if you spend the time. But you can’t put a price on peace of mind. I know I’m a demanding customer. Grayson continues to meet my expectations and delivers real value.
And yes, they’ve got an awesome coffee machine—I actually like getting some work done in their bright, modern waiting area when my car is in for routine service.
If you value time and money look elsewhere. - Carguy1981
I don't enjoy writing this review as it means I've taken a considerable loss thanks to my experience with BMW of Chattanooga. The purchasing experience was a chore as the
sales person appeared disinterested in selling "only" a $27k certified pre owned 2016 X1. He repeatedly attempted to convince me the $45k new model was a better idea.
Even when we did agree to terms it took nearly 48 hours and multiple trips to the dealership to take delivery. It was around the holidays and I'm sure they were short staffed, but
they over promised and under delivered. I had to ask twice to be provided the all weather floor mats that were in the vehicle when I test drove it.
When they did deliver the promised servicing (repair of a squeaky drivers seat and stuck glove box) had not been performed. The sales person said he would schedule that
with the service department and I would receive a call. That was ~Dec 20th and I had no follow up by January 10th so I had to call and schedule on my own. About that time
the steering column had developed a very noticeable tick when turning the wheel so I asked to have that checked as well.
This was dismissed as nothing to worry about, but the service manager stated "It seems like you just don't like this car, do you want me to have the sales staff contact you
to see if we can put you in something newer\nicer?"
I was so incensed I left them a zero star rating on the BMW survey that was emailed me following the visit. The service manager was very upset as it "made him sit in a meeting
with corporate about how to speak to a customer". I honestly did feel bad as this was not the service department's fault. I hand delivered two Lupis pizzas that Friday afternoon
to the service techs and apologized for the poor rating. I just wanted the product I was sold and felt I was not getting it.
A few weeks later I noticed a distinct pull to the passenger side of the vehicle. Fearing I may have burned a bridge at the dealership I took it to an independent big box
mechanic. It was in fact out of alignment and they indicated they did not have the necessary equipment to preform the work and I'd have to visit the dealership. I honestly
considered driving to Atlanta to avoid BMW of Chattanooga, but I did want them to see the further difficulty I was having with the Certified X1. After speaking to the GM
they did agree to split the $200 cost of an alignment.
In early July I received a letter from BMW of America indicating there was a recall on my vehicle due a defective B pillar trim piece.
This made it more likely in the event of a crash that rear seat passengers would be injured. I have a 12 week old daughter. I purchased the X1 specifically because my wife and
I were expecting. I took this in stride, however, as recalls happen all the time and I knew BMW would provide a fix. Still, given all of the other issues I has encountered it
made me wonder what other defects might be creeping in the car so I decided that I was going to take a huge equity loss after only owning for 7 months.
Much to my surprise when I visited BMW of Chattanooga they declined to make any offer on the vehicle as the recall has triggered a Stop Sell.
I've had a Certified PreOwned 2016 BMW X1 for 7 months and now BMW of Chattanooga tells me its worth $0 to them. This is blatantly refusing to stand behind your products. I was
Needless to say I immediately left the dealership and traded in at a local Ford location for an Explorer. I'll never consider BMW of Chattanooga or recommend them for any automotive
service. It's a sad situation and I fully understand that they are a for profit company. Still, that is no way to treat a customer. I hope no one else has the experience I've been left to clean up after.
Sold car out from under me. - REPump
Would give them a minus one if I could. I am from Chattanooga. I made an offer on a 2013 BMW. After they agreed they then accepted my credit card deposit. The salesman called back the next day and said that the car had sold for the full listed price. I guess it is about money not honor.

Initially purchased a 98 ML320 w/starmark warranty. Had the vehicle inspected in Va for state inspection sticker (I live in VA). Va inspection site told me that my brakes were about shot, better have them replaced soon. Starmark inspection should have caught this and replaced before i took delivery of the vehicle. When I confronted the dealer about this they tried to stall and delay hoping i would just go away and forget it ...bring it back later and PAY to have the brake pads replaced. They finally got tired of my persistant complaining and they scheduled me in to have them replaced. All of this could have been avoided had they replaced them before i took delivery of the vehicle in the first place. Should have made it right when i complained and brought this fact to their attention. They have been difficult to deal with on issues like a loaner car, and scheduling my vehicles for service. Recently started asking if i wanted them to wash and vac my car for me....survey must be coming in the mail soon!
