I had one of the worst service experiences at Safford Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram & Fiat of Winchester. I went in for a simple oil change about two months ago, and about a month later, my check engine light started turning on and off. When I called, they told me to come in after two weeks, but the light went off in the meantime. Recently, the check engine light came back on, and when I checked, the oil level was very low. I called them again, and initially, they told me to wait a week. After I explained that I couldn’t drive the car without oil, especially since they were the last ones to service it -they finally agreed to have me bring it in. They said there were no leaks, topped off the oil, and sent me on my way. However, on my drive home, I noticed a strong burning smell. When I checked, oil was splattered all over the engine. I immediately took the car back. They kept it for 24 hours, and I had to call them five times just to get an update. Eventually, they told me the timing cover was cracked and tried to quote me $4,000 for repairs! I decided to get a second opinion from another certified mechanic who fixed the real issue for $1,350. The problem was simply a gasket leak caused by overfilling the oil, which this dealership did. The timing cover was perfectly fine. I’ve driven over 500 miles since the repair with no issues at all. So not only did they overfill my oil and cause a major mess, but they also tried to charge me thousands for their own mistake. Absolutely unacceptable and very shady business practices. On top of that, I decided to cancel my service contract because of this experience. I gave them my information and was told someone would call me but no one did. I had to call multiple times and was told each time that the request was “in queue.” As soon as they realized I wasn’t coming back, it felt like they stopped caring altogether. This dealership completely lacks communication, accountability, and professionalism. Please avoid this place if you value your car, your time, or your money.

Had 2 nearly back to back visits at the service dept of Safford of Fredericksburg location. One for a routine oil change and the second for a recall to be taken care of. Was able to get a same day Saturday appt. The 2nd visit was told I'd probably wait a few hours because one Fiat tech working. But to my surprise, my car was ready in about 45min. Great service both times. They also let me know of other maintenance that needs to be done and tires needing to be replaced. It seems to be a very busy service dept. But all the employees are very efficient and non stop moving. Looks to be very organized.

Excellent Abarth purchase negotiated via email... - mlb

Recently purchased a 2015 Abarth. Since I lived hours away, I had to search inventory, deal on purchase price and trade-in all via email. This was the first time I actually worked a trade-in deal through email. I worked with Silva and he was excellent - friendly, straightforward and very responsive. He was also trustworthy as the deal he gave me (both new car price and trade-in) via email was already written up when I arrived. All I needed to do was test drive and sign paperwork. We were in and out in under an hour. The Abarth's they had in stock were really well chosen. The options included really personalized the cars and they were careful not to add superfluous details that inflate the cost. I would highly recommend Fiat of Alexandria and especially Silva. He is knowledgeable and easy to deal with; both in person and especially via email. Dino the new GM was also a pleasure to deal with in this purchase.

I just purchased a 2009 Buick Enclave CXL from Whitten Bros. I saw the car on Autotrader.com and contacted the dealership through email. Gillian was who responded to me, and happily answered all of my questions and inquiries very promptly. I live 500+ miles from their dealership so I had a lot of questions for her! By the time I made an offer I was very confident that they were treating me fairly and honestly. My flight down to get the car was delayed and rerouted leading to me getting into Richmond as the dealership was closing. Gillian was in contact with me the whole time and ultimately picked me up at the Hotel the next morning and brought me to the dealership! There I dealt with Howard and once again was impressed with the level of service I received. Overall a great experience for my first long distance car purchase. Would definitely do it all again with this dealership.

GREEDY General Manager named Nate - JohnFord

The sales manager Nate is GREEDY, ARROGANT and lacks people skills. He called me on my phone and sounded very rude. Basically , he was scolding me for asking $200 discount to the list price. He didnt care about customer relationship, all he wanted was "pay the list price or go to xxxx". AVOID this dealer at any price.

Wasted two hours of our life here on Saturday. My significant other wanted to test drive and purchase a Fiat 500L. We dealt with Solomon and the dealer manager. After having Solomon bring up a coupe, we pointed out that she wanted a 4 door. They say they have none in stock. (Their website shows 3, apparently they’re all sold or in service). My S/O lists what she wants to Solomon. The “manager” says there’s one vehicle available in Pa, he can get it if we do the deal now, and it’ll be there in a few days. I show them both my phone where I had located about 10 500L’s with in a 20 mile radius. The manager mutters, “they’re not available or sold” and walks out on us. No problem, we gather ourselves up and head on out. I will post our 5 star review of where we drove out with her new car Saturday in a moment. This dealer clearly doesn’t care about selling Fiats or helping customers in their local community. (We live less than a mile away)
