SALES DEPT LACKS INTEGRITY! BEWARE! Ball Toyota of Charleston, WV sales manager Jeff Mihelich approved a one-day hold on a 2022 Highlander Hybrid Platinum for my 74-year-old father. His salesperson, Jacob Frazier, texted total pricing info and a promise to send a link to fill out credit info to complete the transaction. FIVE minutes after receiving the text (we have screen shots), Mr. Frazier texted back indicating the car was sold to another buyer. If you read nothing else, at least you now know the risks you take when shopping for a car at Ball Toyota of Charleston WV. If you want the details, keep reading. Mr. Frazier never informed my father of any other interested parties. My father had gotten deep enough into the negotiations to have a quote that included local taxes and desired down payment. I’m sure at this point you, as my father, would have believed you were in the process of purchasing a car. Unfortunately, that is not how they do business at Ball Toyota of Charleston, WV. On behalf of my father, I called Ball Toyota asking for the manager who okayed the deal and thereby breaking his word to my father. Mr. Mihelich said, “You’re an out of state buyer. We’ll never see you again.” Clearly, he was not concerned about the unethical transaction. Mr. Mihelich now says that the hold was contingent upon an approved credit application, which was never the case. However, even if it was, he still approved the sale of the car to another customer while working on paperwork with my father. At the end of the day, both Mr. Mihelich and Mr. Jacobs apparently feel no remorse over this unethical transaction. We never received an apology from anyone and Mr. Mihelich actually tried to blame the failed transaction us, the customer. Not sure what we did wrong. All they gained was selling the car maybe 30 min sooner (or perhaps there was another incentive we aren’t privy to. I do wonder about that one). We will obviously find the car eventually at another dealership that, hopefully, has more of a moral compass. However, we just wanted all potential Ball Toyota of Charleston WV customers to know how they treated at least one of their potential customers.

When we were hit by a moving truck in Colorado in June and our new Highlander Hybrid was totaled, our local dealerships basically told us to leave a deposit and "wait in line" for 6-12 months. I searched dealerships across the country and couldn't get any help until CMA owner Liza Myers Borches stepped in, connected me with Jason Wolfe and David Boone who went so far above and beyond to find me a replacement vehicle that it left me in shock and awe. Up to this point, I'd had either fine or poor experiences with dealerships but this one is truly something extraordinary. I have never felt more cared about when buying a car (especially under such traumatizing circumstances) and when Jason said he was going to give it his all, I knew I was connected with a human being with a big heart, not just a salesperson. I can never say enough positive things about this dealership and even though I live 1600 miles away, you better believe I'm going to recommend them to everyone and reach out to them first for my future Toyotas - they are THAT AMAZING!

Wonderful experience working with Zane at UT. Very professional, easy to reach (including by text message), and answered all of my questions. They did not have the exact vehicle I was interested in and proceeded to get it from another dealer in a timely manner. They let us bring the vehicle home to try it out before deciding on the purchase. Thanks UT for the great customer service.

New update, Took my 2nd Toyota Tacoma from my 2nd son for a recall ( frame treatment) to Dan Cava. I ask them to check the front end due to a noise I heard driving to the dealership. I call the morning of recall work and ask them to check it while it was on the rack. I was told by the lady that answered the phone " since you turned in a review of my concerns with the Mr Cavas policies and your review stated you were upset with the policies we can not work on your vehicles ". At that point I ask to speak with the Manager after waiting 2 hours for her to call me I finally called in and spoke with her. She repeated the same situation as above " Since you you wrote reviews that were negative why would you want us to work on your vehicle " I thought a 2nd chance with Dan Cava might be a option and I was wrong. I ask Kerry So will you look at the truck and she said NO . So again Dan Cava Toyota has tarnished the brand beyond my imagination.

Run do not walk to another dealership! The service department is terrible. I have a 2021 Toyota Camry XSE AWD and the wheels are peeling. All four of them. Kevin, service manager, said it was rock chips. Oh really? Bubbling + peeling=rock chips. Very disappointed. Buy somewhere that will take care of you!

Horrible and very unprofessional. My windshield was cracked while parked on the property as I was test driving a vehicle over a month ago and I have yet to receive a call from a top manager. I have made 4 trips to the lot to speak to someone and left 6 voicemails. I, as well as multiple family members have purchased vehicles from Moses for years. So, instead of making things right, they are willing to lose a family of business (thousands of dollars) for a $350 windshield replacement. I personally will never buy from here again nor recommend them to my friends or family. A simple phone call could have eliminated this unsatisfactory service. Clearly, this company needs to read up on customer satisfaction.

Car had been wrecked, not reported on Carfax. They knew it was in an accident,made repairs badly. Would not admit to it. Ask to just return my car back. Lied again said it went to wholesaler. Not true. Found on their other lot in Williamson,Wv. Don't deal with these guys.
