My experience with Libertyville Mazda following the purchase of a new vehicle in December 2024 has been profoundly negative and indicative of serious operational shortcomings.
Firstly, the Business Manager, Gabriel, failed to provide me with a complete set of contractual documents at the time of purchase.
Secondly, I was pressured by Gabriel to purchase additional coverage. I promptly requested the cancellation within one week and received assurances that the necessary paperwork would be processed. However, after three months, I contacted Mazda Finance and the insurance provider and they confirmed that Libertyville Mazda never submitted the cancellation request.
This failure to fulfill a basic administrative obligation is deeply troubling. The lack of accountability and the dealership's continued silence regarding the reason for this oversight are unacceptable. To date, no explanation has been offered.
Based on these experiences, I cannot recommend Libertyville Mazda as a reputable dealership. I strongly advise prospective buyers to exercise extreme caution, particularly regarding any additional coverage offered by the finance department.
