We are from Kansas and found a GMC Acadia online. - Racheal
We are from Kansas and found a GMC Acadia online. I began working with John Gorman, and we drove 4 hours on 5/22/2026 to purchase the vehicle. Before we arrived, John told us the car would be waiting for us. At no point did he ever disclose that the vehicle had hail damage.
When we arrived, John happened to be out of the office, and the representative we were referred to was of no help. Instead of assisting us, he spent most of the time talking about his military background. After test-driving the vehicle and realizing the condition issues, we met with Bill to express our frustrations.
Bill apologized and assured us they would “make it right.” He specifically told us they would repair the hail damage, remove the vehicle from the website, and deliver the vehicle to us in Kansas once repairs were completed.
On Monday, John texted me, apparently unaware of everything that had happened. I explained the situation to him. Then on Tuesday, 5/26/2026, I followed up to ask when we could expect the vehicle to be repaired and delivered. That is when John informed us they had SOLD the vehicle after we left.
We are completely shocked and disappointed. We were promised the vehicle would be fixed, taken off the website, and delivered to us — only to find out it was sold without anyone even having the respect to call us and let us know.
To make matters worse, Bill later stated that I “shouldn't be cussing and upset with this company.” That alone says a lot about how this situation was handled.
I am currently waiting on a call from Zach Wells to discuss this matter further. I will also be sharing this experience on every website where this dealership lists vehicles, so other customers do not go through what we did.
