Quality Car from a Quality Dealership Kia of Asheville: Service and Product Review November 8, 2015 Our 2016 KIA Sorento, purchased from Kia of Asheville, is now one month Kia of Asheville: Service and Product Review November 8, 2015 Our 2016 KIA Sorento, purchased from Kia of Asheville, is now one month old and we now have 1,000 miles of experience with the car. Our overall review of both the car and the dealership are excellent. Kia of Asheville: My wife and I were looking for a family car suitable for long distance trips to visit our children and that could also serve as my local "utility car" for supporting several local, non-profit organizations. We had read many very favorable reviews of the Kia Sorento and also knew that it was one of the few cars with a 10 way, power adjustable front passenger seat, which was a critical requirement in our search. We met with Tim Cousins, Sales Consultant at Kia's Asheville dealership on route 191. Tim listened to our stated requirements, outlined several options in the Kia line that we might consider and allowed us to drive two that seemed reasonable. Our test drive caused us to quickly zero in on the 2016 Sorento as our preferred vehicle. A few days later, we received a call from the dealership informing us that they had identified three 2016 Sorentos they had in stock which met our basic requirements. We test drove two of them which seemed to have the optimum option package and were informed of the pricing which was quite favorable. The deal was concluded promptly at a price we considered to be very fair. Throughout the process we were impressed by the integrity and professionalism of the personnel with whom we dealt at Kia of Asheville and would gladly refer others to them. Our perception is that of a quality, customer focused well run organization. The 2016 Kia Sorento: After our first 1,000 miles of driving the car we are well pleased. The car rides nicely and is quiet inside. We have averaged approximately 22.5 miles per gallon overall; there is plenty of power from the 4 cylinder Eco Boost engine; there is plenty of space for my non-profit activities and the power adjustable seats will be a great assist for my wife on long trips to visit family or for vacations. Purchased new KIA We were greeted at the front door by Buckey Bates the first time we went to the dealer ship to look at new cars. You cannot ask for a nicer person tha We were greeted at the front door by Buckey Bates the first time we went to the dealer ship to look at new cars. You cannot ask for a nicer person than Buckey. He was very polite, not pushy but very willing to show us cars we were interested in buying. He did a great job, and we felt he was very honest and we could work with him. We went back a few days later and spoke to Buckey again because we felt we were ready to buy the car. Again very polite answered all are questions. Aaron Hill worked with us for hours to help us get the best buy for our money. He was so patient and not pushy and did not try to convince us to spend more money. He was able to work it out and we drove off with a new KIA which we love. Jordon Ogle also worked with us and he was very professional and was willing to make it work for us. I would recommend people stop by and talk to them if they are ready to buy a KIA. More

The person who responded to my query was the one who actually met me at the dealership I started looking at Kias online and inquired about one I saw. The person who responded to my query was the one who actually met me at the dealership and worked with me through the whole process. I was very impressed with him as well as the other staff I encountered. The atmosphere was great, my needs were considered and they found the right car for me. I would definitely recommend Gustavo and the Paramount Kia team. More

The only negative I can think of about the whole experience is that it took nearly half a day. We ended up buying a Kia Soul. We got a very good deal, and every person we dealt with was courteous and friendly. I can't blame them for offering every automobile equivalent of "you want fries with that?" because that's their job. But I congratulate them for the fact that when I said "No, thank you," they didn't pressure me any further. They also explained things in as much detail as I asked for, and on one or two points they were extremely patient in explaining something multiple ways until I understood it. Aside from the long wait (which is partly my fault for putting off going until they were so busy), they treated me exactly right! How often can you say that about a car dealership? :-) More
