I live 4 hours away from where this dealer is located.
They had the perfect car for what I was looking for. All the dealerships around me were trying to upcharge me 9K more than what it was listed online!

Lost Pines Toyota was very accommodating with my situation living so far away and did everything for me through the phone and email. They sent me all the final paperwork the day before I took the trip down there to get my new car, so I could see exactly what I was signing before I went down. It was EXACTLY what we discussed. No hidden fees. no hidden charges. They were very upfront and told me exactly what the breakdown was. When I got there all I had to do was sign on the dotted line and they gave me the keys and I left. I was there 35-45 minutes tops. BEST EXPERIENCE WITH A DEALER EVER! Finance was great, sales was great, service was great. Enough said. Will probably buy my next car there because its worth the 4 hour road trip over getting ripped off at the dealerships near me.

I will not return to this dealership, or refer anyone to
buy a vehicle here. I wanted the vehicle so I decided to put up with the repeated errors by the sales person. I specifically told the sales person I

I specifically told the sales person I already had a pre approval through capital one, which he said was a “preferred lender”. I was extremely adamant about not wanting any credit checks through multiple finance companies. I gave my reference number and when the paperwork started I got 4 notifications from each credit bureau showing hard inquiries that I did not authorize. Running a hard inquiry without authorization is illegal. There were only 3 things I wanted when purchasing this vehicle, to use the lender I was pre approved with, to have my credit run ONE time for that lender, and the vehicle. I only got 1 of the 3 things I wanted. My paperwork was swapped somehow with another buyer, insurance information was entered into my paperwork for another buyer as well. I’m unsure who was responsible for all of these issues but saying “I’m sorry” doesn’t fix it. It was the worst buying experience I’ve ever had, and I will make sure that everyone I run across who is looking for a vehicle knows what kind of experience I had at Lost Pines. The one person I can say that I worked with who was informative and helpful was Clerissa Vandivier. She went over everything in detail, answered all of my questions and made me feel better about the vehicle purchase.

The authorization signature was given AFTER the fact. The problem is that it happened in the first place. I will move forward refinancing with my original intended lender, but the hassle caused by Lost Pines was unbelievable. In turn I will not return to this dealership, not even for service, and I will make sure to share my experience with anyone looking for a vehicle in the area. Your salesman also stated that because I was a veteran he would do everything he could do for me, which turned out to be the worst car buying experience I’ve ever had. He showed me just how much veterans are not valued by Lost Pines. Considering that “your efforts” have been a sad apology and excuses instead of taking responsibility for the poor experience, no sir that does not remedy the bad experience and I will not return to Lost Pines.

Unless you can somehow reverse all the extra hard inquiries to my credit that I told your salesman I did not want, then no. I wasn’t given respect in my first experience with Lost Pines, I won’t come back for service, I wouldn’t even go turn around in your parking lot. I can suggest training for the sales person who was responsible for the extreme disregard for my request. I have a feeling that he was well aware of what he did and it was not a mistake. He is the only reason this dealership gets such a bad review from me, because not only did he lie he also blamed the person who ran my credit. I seriously hope you can explain to him how credit works because he said that he was “unaware that hard inquiries can stay on a credit report for up to 25 months”. Thank you for your time.
