My wife Disnella Carcamo-Alier has a disability that she can’t drive her car and needs to be driven around to appointments and physical therapy. I am very upset with the treatment my wife received at westbu can’t drive her car and needs to be driven around to appointments and physical therapy. I am very upset with the treatment my wife received at westbury toyota dealership on March 9, 2024. My wife and I were separated at the time of the deal and upon our reconciliation and reviewing her documents and contract I see that the dealership took advantage of her being a female. My wife was contacted by westbury toyota dealership to do an early lease return with no penalties with 6 months still remaining. My wife was scammed into getting a brand new Toyota Corolla cross hybrid stock # N241356 with a retail price of $32,999.00 plus destination fee of $1,350.00 totaling $ 33,649.00. The dealership had my wife put down a total of $8,508.85 cash and a lease payment of $456.49 for 39 months. Now that she has no use for the vehicle since she is disabled and tried to sell the vehicle the payoff from CAL Automotive certified auto leasing is an outrageous amount of $38,904.54 plus sales tax. My wife has made 14 payments of $456.49 plus the down payment of $ 8,508.85 totaling $ 14,899.71 and her buyout to sell the car is $38,904.54 as of today and the vehicle is 15 months old. How terrible it is that my wife as a female going alone to the dealership has to go through this horrible treatment from this dealership. The amount of money she’s paid to date of $14,899.71 plus the $38,904.54 they want to buyout the vehicle that’s a total of $ 53,804.25 for a car that only retails for $33,649.00. On top of all this the lease vehicle she returned 2021 Toyota C-HR with a lease payment of $260.00 and a sticker price of $24,152.00 is no where on the contract or given documentation that the lease was returned.
