Buyer beware I have been a customer of Herb Chambers for 7 years now and have never had a pleasant experience in the Honda Boston dealership. I had a very terrible experience with the sales team here, constantly trying to squeeze whatever they could out of my bank account and playing me as an idiot the whole time. This past experience will make it so I never shop there again. I was looking to lease a new car, as I had done for the past 6 years, and finally came to an agreement on a monthly payment. I was told I would be getting a white, HR-V with sport trim and it would be able to drive 2 days after I purchased the vehicle. 2 days turned to a week of minimal communication and no answers. I was finally told that the vehicle I had signed for and did all the paperwork for was not a couple towns away, like they had said, but held up at the Mexican border and that it would take an additional 2 weeks to arrive. So I decided to get a different color, even though that is not the car I wanted. They did nothing to accommodate or make up for the lie they sold me, and had me drive an hour to their new location in Dorchester, which is not a nice dealership. I sat there for another 2 and a half hours as they got together paperwork they said was all set and were not apologetic nor did they do anything to ease the inconvenience of the past week and the unplanned trip. On top of that, the car was not inspected, I had no physical registration and couldn’t contact my insurance to get rates as a result. I was told to go out and get it inspected, and request a refund for the inspection they had already charged me for in my paperwork. So now on my time this week, I have to call insurance companies, get my car inspected, wait for a refund and print out my own registration form. This place is a joke and they treat people poorly. Do not buy from here. More

My experience involved the usual False Advertising/False Promises. Purchased a Honda HRV and was told it comes with a remote starter. After asking again to confirm if it does, the response was yes. When we realized the car doesn't have a remote starter, both sales person and manager said it wasn't advertised and that I have to pay for one. Stay Away! They're just like all the other used car dealerships. More

Worse car buying experience ever! The people I've dealt with never ever smiled, or greeted me. I ask a question they don't even care to answer with an explanation. I'm trying to buy a car and ask the difference between two cars, or what the feature is about. They don't even care to explain. One of the cars I was looking at on their site claimed the car had "key-less entry" but the actual car didn't. When I told they should remove that from their site, his response was "Key-less entry is when you click on the button of the car key and enter the car". Really? you don't even know what that feature is or car selling got that low that you think the other person is that dumb? I can go on and on with their terrible, worse customer service. But I don't have the time but even if I did , this page wouldn't have any room. After my horrible experience, I've been telling people not to buy anything from these guys and no one can convince me otherwise.! If I could give minus five stars I would. DO NOT EVEN GO THERE! More
