The auto shop got me in right off to fix items that were needed. The person that did the financial paperwork made several mistakes. I had to resign paperwork because he had stuff on there that the bank doesn't allow. He also wouldn't put my mailing address down. He said they only want physical address. So we never received account on loans or the payment book. I had to call both credit unions to get my info so I could pay on both vehicles that we bought. More

This situation is regarding the service department, not sales, but I am unable to select service as my reason for my visit(?). I brought the Chevy truck that I purchased at Tim's to the service department sales, but I am unable to select service as my reason for my visit(?). I brought the Chevy truck that I purchased at Tim's to the service department for diagnosis and repair of a vibration when applying the brakes. I was contacted and told it was in the rear brakes and though they were not worn out, they would have to be replaced to fix the problem. I verbally authorized the repair (I was out of town). When I returned, I was told the vibration was still there (?) and the problem was in the driveline, and for $500+ they could take it to a third-party shop that specialized in driveline work. I am personally familiar with the shop they referenced, so I took my truck to them independently. Two different people there inspected the driveline and took the truck for a test drive and rendered the opinion that the problem was in the front brakes (the front brakes were replaced prior to the sale at Tim's shop). I made an appointment and took the truck back to Tim's shop and told them that the third party that they referenced thought the problem was (front brakes). They checked it out and said the problem was the rear brake rotors and they were going to replace them under warranty. They did this and road-tested the truck; it did not correct the problem. They then said the problem was in the front brakes and they were going to replace them. Finally, this corrected the problem. Quite frankly, I feel that if the problem was properly diagnosed the first time, the front brakes should have been replaced under shop warranty (as they ultimately were) and the issue would have been resolved. What I have an issue with is that the diagnosis of it being a rear brake problem was incorrect and the rear brakes that may have been still serviceable were replaced at a cost of over $400, the perceived problem of a driveline problem was incorrect, when presented with the opinion of the third party regarding the front brakes they ignored it and replaced components of the rear brakes again. In addition to the repair bill for the rear brakes, I have half a day lost taking the truck to the third-party shop and half a day while it was worked on the second time and finally fixed. More
