This was our first experience in buying a Hyundai. This is the best dealership we have ever bought a car from. They do not use pressure tactics or do all the other things some dealers do to get you to buy is the best dealership we have ever bought a car from. Buying a car from Hyundai of St. Augustine made the experience of buying a car a pleasureable one. They were friendly and worked together as a team, including the owner of the company, to make sure we were satified with our deal. Would highly recommend them to anyone buying an Hyundai! This was the first time I have purchased a vehicle over the internet. I was looking for a 2011 Elantra and some of the Orlando dealerships were tacking on big market premiums for the vehicles. As such I the internet. I was looking for a 2011 Elantra and some of the Orlando dealerships were tacking on big market premiums for the vehicles. As such I ventured outside the Orlando market and contacted Hyundai of St. Augustine. Andrew Difeo helped me locate the exact vehicle I was looking for. He returned my calls and emails and did so professionally. We purchased an Elantra after a couple of days. They also shopped and found us a great finance rate. It was one of the easiest and least time consuming transactions I have had. Great customer service! More

I believe purchasing a car should be a good experience.Several years ago,I bought a car and had the very worse experience you could have on such a "special" day. The car was good ,THE SERVICE WAS HORRIBLE! I decided to go to the Hyundai dealership because I did own one many years ago and had good service. When we arrived we were not pushed into anything.We asked to see a sales consultant. Paul Smathers was at our service. He was very attentive,,having full knowledge of the automobile I was interested in. We were not rushed into a "buy" but talked to about their beliefs in having a well run dealership. I purchased a 2011 Hyundai Elantra. It was delivered the next day. Paul patiently explained all the functions of this gorgeous car,,,,bluetooth,radio,,too many to mention,and mentioned I could go back at any time if I had any questions..May I mention that the owner was also present at times,assuring that all was going well. They gave us a discount and fair trade value to where we weren't upside down in our new loan. Gave us a great interest rate as good as our credit union! Frank was thourough in going over the car with us and even helped us link our phones to the car. He was very friendly and went the extra mile to make sure we were happy. Frank introduced us to the owner and the service manager. I hate going to dealerships and getting the run around between trade ins and financing or heavy pressure to purchase but that was not the case. We picked the Sonata GlS @ first then changed our mind to the Sonata SE. Usually the salesman gets irrated when the paperwork is started on one and you change your mind. Not Frank,he gladly showed us several cars and let us discuss what we wanted to do~ No hassle!!!!!!! We have already recommended this dealership and salesman to 3 other people! Also the owner Andrew came out and met us in person and was very friendly and helpful with financing. Never after buying 10 cars have I met the owner!!!!!!!!! We will be back for future purchases! The pricing is in plain simple arithmetic fashion without mystical inflated and discounted numbers.Which are then overridden by some jack in the box manager that appears out of some dark hidden office.After the sale and delivery have been completed, the follow up support and service follows with the same quality of the sale,top notch. Speaking to the workmanship, quality, and value of the Hyundai product it is ahead of the curve . From start to finish dealing with Hyundai of St. Augustine has been a quality experience! More

My daughter needed to purchase her first new car. Her college vehicle finally retired itself ; sudden demise. She is a very active person. She is a professional, creative dog groomer establishing a new career, an equestrian rider and a graduate in art. She needed a practical but good looking car. We looked at many Jacksonville dealers at a variety of sports utility cars. A friend suggested looking into Hyundai's.Suggested they were nice cars and affordable. So looked up some reviews, went to a few Hyundai dealerships in Jax.. ,typical car dealership attitude==sell the most expensive vehicle, not listening to her needs and finances. But,we liked the cars we saw. Decided to look at St.Augustine Hyundai. First of all, Email response was the most friendly and immediate. Explained what their inventory was and were eager for us to come visit. It sounded worth it. We were so surprised with the kind, and friendly attitudes of all the employees. First, we could only come at dusk the night before Thanksgiving. She works all the time. Josh, a sales associate, was willing to wait to show her the cars and give her guidance on choices so she could think about it till Fri.. Look over the brochures,etc. and compare them to the other cars she was interested in. Get a feel for their brand of vehicles. We returned on Fri.(Mom and daughter) perfect set up for a salesperson. We were greeted as "new friends"by Josh. Then,introduced to other associates. They talked with us. We explained what we wanted and her finances. They,actually, listened to what we had to say. They said" they could find the perfect fit". My daughter looked at a variety of cars. But, immediately, knew the Elantra Touring car was "IT" the perfect car for her needs. She liked the look and the way it drove. They discussed the financial details with all the options she wanted. They always were on top of her limit on monthly payments and finances. Everything was so easy and casual. She had her beautiful first car!! Which she could afford!! What a joy for her. But most of all, a relief. This was a first pleasant car dealing experience in all my yrs.. of buying vehicles. They all should be like this. Upfront, honest, fair and a car selling approach with integrity. We are completely satisfied with our experience. She is beyond happy with her car. Her friends keep asking all about it.They are even considering a visit themselves. These are 26 to 30 yrs old friends with careers. P.S, I have a 2003 CTS I am going to sell. I was ready for "the" new one. I really felt the CTS was the one and only perfect car for me. I think I may have changed my mind. I am now considering the top of the line, Sonata 2011. Sporty, Classy and a great price. I can have lots of fun spending the extra savings . Great Job!!! This was as "painless" a new car purchase as I've ever had. From the moment I drove onto the property I was made welcome and treated not only as a customer, but was made to feel as if the staff genuinely had. From the moment I drove onto the property I was made welcome and treated not only as a customer, but was made to feel as if the staff genuinely valued my friendship, too. I well understand that the purpose of any dealership is to sell vehicles, but purchasing a car or truck is often like buying a house; a process combining the customer's wants and needs as well as his/her emotional satisfaction with both the product and the buying process. Hyundai of St. Augustine satisfied all of those needs for me in a totally professional manner often claimed by but seldom found in dealerships, and for that I commend them. The staff, from the General Manager to the Sales Managers and Finance Manager, and finally to the salesman (usually the first point of customer contact in any dealership) pulled NO "tricks", "games" or "slight-of-hand" foolishness that customers have learned to expect from dealership staff, and that was a major breath of "fresh air". I can recommend Hyundai of St. Augustine without ANY reservations, to family, friends and complete strangers alike. They have a good reputation locally, and after my purchasing experience I can well understand why. More

I was in and out. I got a higher trade in value than I was expecting and the 2.9% financing. No pressure, no dealer addon's (rare these days). The finance guy didnt try to tack on any items. When I began my car search I e-mailed a couple dealerships about the price of the 2011 Hyundai Sonata. Hyundai of St. Augustine was the only dealership to e-mail me back an out the door quote. And not only was this quote lower than the others, they sent information about TrueCar.com where I could check their price against others in the area. When I visited the dealership I was greeted warming and quickly shown to a car for a test drive. Joe was able to answer every question regarding the car, and my friend and I are both engineers, so we came up with some pretty tough ones. I was impressed with how clean the car was in comparison to the other test drives I had taken. It was shortly into the test drive that I knew I wanted this car. When the money talk began Joe was very helpful in explaining all the costs and even found a financing option for college graduates, allowing me to save even more money. I completed all of my paperwork with Jimmy, who was extremely helpful. I knew I was moving out of state and Jimmy completed all the paperwork necessary to make registering the car in another state even easier. I was also greatly impressed by the fact the owner of the dealership, Andrew, checked in with my several times during my visit. He knew my name and was very helpful with any questions I had. After all the paperwork was complete, Joe took the time to go through all of the manual and extras the car has. We set up my Bluetooth and not only did Joe managed to get the technology to work immediately, he joked, singing Phil Collins. I have had the car for about a month now. It is properly registered in my new state and running like a champ. Hyundai of St. Augustine was nothing like the usual dealerships that make car shopping such a headache. More
