In 2008, I realized that I needed to make a career change. I spent the previous 19 years in the restaurant industry, and the long hours were really beginning to take their toll. After applying for a job at Don Ayres, I was immediately impressed with the company’s family-friendly approach to business. Everyone welcomed me to the dealership, something that I pass along to our new employees. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my wife, Melissa, and our Weimaraner, Remington Steele (Remy). We also enjoy boating in our vintage Correct Craft. I enjoy helping customers not only at time of purchase, but later on down the line when questions arise on how to use their new vehicle's technology (I'm a bit of a tech geek)!

No stress, no pressure We really liked the no haggle pricing. I did a lot of research and found the price on our 2017 Grand Cherokee was far below any other Grand Cherokee We really liked the no haggle pricing. I did a lot of research and found the price on our 2017 Grand Cherokee was far below any other Grand Cherokee in the area with comparable mileage. Andy HItzemann is a just nice to work with … I guess "trustworthy" is the word that comes to mind. In the middle of our car buying experience, our 9-year cat became extremely sick and we almost lost him. Andy never pressured us in the least to move forward with the vehicle, but instead was very understanding about what we going through. When Newman the Cat made it through his surgery and was on the road to recovery, the vehicle was still there and we were happy to do business with Andy …. again. We also bought our 2015 CRV from him 5 years ago. Would also like to comment on Shawn Trice in the business office. We spent less than an hour with him and I feel like we made another friend at Don Ayres!! Besides being very knowledgeable about his job, he is so personable that we had a hard time keeping focused on the business at hand. He is just easy to talk to. More
