In 2008, I realized that I needed to make a career change. I spent the previous 19 years in the restaurant industry, and the long hours were really beginning to take their toll. After applying for a job at Don Ayres, I was immediately impressed with the company’s family-friendly approach to business. Everyone welcomed me to the dealership, something that I pass along to our new employees. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my wife, Melissa, and our Weimaraner, Remington Steele (Remy). We also enjoy boating in our vintage Correct Craft. I enjoy helping customers not only at time of purchase, but later on down the line when questions arise on how to use their new vehicle's technology (I'm a bit of a tech geek)!

Usually a dealership falls short somewhere along the line - the salesman, the F&I guy, service - but not Don Ayres Honda. Andy has been absolutely amazing to work with! He goes above and beyond his job. I have been dealing with Don Ayres since 1980 and can honestly say I have never had one bad experience with any area of this dealership. Their sales staff are not pushy or aggressive and are helpful even honestly say I have never had one bad experience with any area of this dealership. My thanks to Andy Hitzemann who has been extremely patient and helpful to us with this car purchase. We are accustomed to buying cars off the dealer lot but with the short supply over the last few ye patient and helpful to us with this car purchase. We are accustomed to buying cars off the dealer lot but with the short supply over the last few years this is no longer the case and it has made this a very difficult purchase for us. Anyway, with Andy’s help we are proud new owners of a 2023 Honda CR-V. More
