I had dealt with Jack Depalo, Mike Grant, Angelo Alexiadis, Liza and Joel [sorry Liza & Joel about your last names :) ]. Upon reflection- given the economy, the New York Shtick, the other unsavory dealerships not to mention my deluge of enquiries, this team on balance did a fine job! As this is my first vehicle in a sports car class, I must give special kudos to Angelo for his patience and insights on low profile wheel dimensions and aerodynamics. Insofar as my GTI goes, well its Ausgezeichnet! (Thats German for Excellent!). I highly recommend Bayside VW! Dave More

My husband and I had a horrible experience at another dealer (not volkswagon) and were looking for a new vehicle for me, as I am the primary driver. My lease was coming to an end, and we looked as simpl dealer (not volkswagon) and were looking for a new vehicle for me, as I am the primary driver. My lease was coming to an end, and we looked as simply trading in for a new model of the same car. Unfortunately, we were treated very poorly at the dealership where I had obtained that vehicle. My husband's family has had some positive experience with German cars, so we decided to look into Volkswagon. We walked into Bayside Volkswagon and were greeted warmly, asked which vehicles we were interested in, and a sales associate was immediately paged to meet us. John Albanese took great care of us, made sure all our questions were answered, and ran various permutations of finance options so that we would get the best possible deal. We had origally gone to look at the Tiguan, but found that it was a tad out of our desired price range, and we focused on the Jetta. It was the best decision we could make! For less out of pocket, and a smaller monthly lease payment we were able to afford a Jetta SE with all the cool toys that we would want (none of which was offered on the vehicle that I was currently leasing). On the evening that we took delivery of our vehicle, John A. drove to the other dealership to pick us up (I had to turn in that lease vehicle) and made sure they didn't keep us too long. The final paperwork was handled quite quickly and effectively by Angelo, and we were able to leave with our new car in very short time, after John A. spent a while with us to make sure we knew where all the buttons were and what they did. He even ensured that my phone was linked up with the car's bluetooth, before he left us. Overall, this was less like leasing a new vehicle with all the hoops one has to jump through, and more like spending time with some friends who only want the best for you! More

This is my second Volkswagen with Bayside VW and I must admit...I am extremely satisfied! My first Volkswagen Jetta was totaled in an accident and I wanted to upgrade to the Passat TDi. I was unsure of the color and the details and through the help of Jack and his team, I was able to pick a beautiful 2012 Passat TDi. I am very please with the selection and the professionalism, courtesy, attention to details given to me by the Bayside team! Pricing was great, financing deal was exceptional and the delivery was on time. I ordered a lot of extras and Angelo was on target with getting everything installed and ready as promised. Angelo explained line by line the coverage I had under the service contract and he also had one of the staff take my vehicle to the VW Service Center in Great Neck to have the mud guards installed while I waited comfortably at the dealership. I felt I got a great price and overall had a pleasurable experience. I would highly recommend or refer them to anyone. More
