This dealer wouldn’t replace the engine on the vehicle when there was a lifetime warranty already on it. They claimed to have done a diagnostic test and did not receive the diagnostic code for the engine when there was a lifetime warranty already on it. They claimed to have done a diagnostic test and did not receive the diagnostic code for the engine when I did the diagnostic test on my own and received the engine code. They were aware of the issues with the engine. Instead, suggested something else was wrong with the vehicle that was not related to the engine and wanted $1,200 for it to be fixed yet I would still have engine issues. I was willing to trade in the vehicle and was given an offensively low trade value. Had I taken the trade in amount, this dealer would have completed whatever paperwork was needed for the lifetime warranty engine, put the new engine in, and sold that car for quadruple the trade in value they gave me. Took my business elsewhere and done with Kia totally. More
