Ashley Weiss was a great sales person who sure knows her stuff about cars! She showed us all the functions of the car and answered every question we had. We fell in love with the car and this car buying experience was the easiest we've ever done! Thank Ray CDJR for all your help! We will certainly come back again! Tricia & Dion Kapsalis More

demoralizing and condescending My husband and I have been looking to purchase a Ram 1500. Now we have been deciding between a brand new express, or maybe a big horn with lower miles My husband and I have been looking to purchase a Ram 1500. Now we have been deciding between a brand new express, or maybe a big horn with lower miles. Part 1: Grant brought a new (2018) Ram 1500 Quad Cab to my house to test drive which was awesome. It was the day before it turned really cold (-23C). I was not sure on the vehicle, so I continued to think about it. Part 2: A few days later my husband wanted to take a look at the new red Ram, and look at a Blacked out Express (2018) while we were there. In total we looked at 3 Rams the night we went to Ray's. We decided on one, and tried to negotiate, but neither the salesman or finance manager would budge much. They were so offended that I tried to negotiate the price and just expected me to take the price they said. It was listed at $30,200 and we agreed on $30,000. He was visibly pissed off at giving me the $200, and made me well aware of that. The finance manager came back with the numbers and rattled off $33,000 plus tax title license and APR. What?!?! We agreed on 30K...now its 33K? I showed him a new Big Horn at Gurnee Dodge for $31,800. For 1) why did the price jump up 3K while we were doing paperwork and 2) why would I pay more for an Express than a new Big Horn? He told me they just changed the prices on the Internet within the 5 minutes we had agreed on the 30K price. I showed him the screen shot of the previous price and he insisted he could NOT give me the vehicle price that it was listed at 5 minutes ago because he didn't have the authority. He would not sell for the agreed upon $30,00 or even $30,200. They were RUDE! They wanted us out: The sales girl Ashley had to get one of the trucks from a muddy lot, so she tried to use that as a selling point...saying you made me walk through the mud tonight and you're not going to buy the truck now? I told her I will sign right now for 30K. She said, "But the truck costs 33K". xxx! The finance manager then said...you can't even decide which features or color you like cause you drove 3 of our vehicles. And you have bad credit that we have to work with. I realize I have bad credit but I do have a pre-approval through my own lender (which they tried to talk me out of and say they could get me a better rate...but I said no), so that was really none of their concern because I had the offer in hand through Capital One Navigator. WOW! That's all I can say. Zero stars would say it all much better. More

Ray’sIt’s a shame that those who gave good Ray’s It’s a shame that those who gave good recommendations did not get to see what happens behind the fake front that Ray’s displays. I came from se Ray’s It’s a shame that those who gave good recommendations did not get to see what happens behind the fake front that Ray’s displays. I came from several states away because Ray’s had “the car” I wanted. Prior to coming to Fox Lake I was assured over the phone by Francisco Aguirre that all the extras I had on my truck would give a higher trade-in value. I felt somewhat weary but he assured me! So I start the drive and arrive at Ray’s at 7:45pm. I first stopped at the Ford dealership just south of Ray’s to get a trade-in value, which the Manager said $24,000 for my truck. KBB has my truck valued at $25,000 without all the extras I have in it, which is worth $3,000 more. As soon as I got to Ray’s they wanted to start the paperwork immediately and I had not even driven the car yet. I told them I do not want to drive the car because I was so tired from driving all day, 750 miles! Then Joe, the sales manager, proceeded to tell me their offer for the trade, $20,000! I told him that was ridiculous and he’s not being fair. I told him just down the street I was offered $24,000. He said go down there and get a car, knowing damn well he had me because I drove all the way up for a particular car. He then decided he’d give me $20,500. I was very close to leaving because Francisco led me to think they would be fair and “Joe” was unfair and very rude. I brought extra rims and tires for my truck and asked them if I could store them in there garage while I got a hotel room ($125) and that I’d be back in the morning to drive the car and make a decision. I show up at opening and decide to buy the car and get the windows tinted. They said they’d have me out the door by 11am. During the time I waited I heard Joe in the background say derogatory statements about me on several occasions. I waited all day in the dealership and my car came back at closing and the car had not been detailed yet. A salesman had to take me to the hotel for another night ($125). I called them at opening to come pick me up and they came a hour and half later. I wait at the dealership another 3 hours and I finally left. I received a survey via email and gave them poor reviews and my salesman asked if I’d retake it because “all” the questions reflect on him, 100%. I asked to speak to Ray to see if this was true and Ray eventually got back to me and said it is 100% true. So I retook the survey and added some good ratings. Then I called FCA, the mother company to Dodge and ask them if I was lied to, and they said yes. Ray boldfaced lies to me! Shame on you Ray and your sales manager!!! Greedy little liars!!! Because of the troubles I went through Ray’s gave me $125 in BP gas cards, which there are no BP stations where I live. $125??? I had to get another hotel room on my way back home because I spent so long waiting for the car. How much profit was made from this trade and sale??? You completely hosed me Ray and you’re sitting there with a huge evil smirk. It is unfortunate that Connor, my salesman who was a very nice young man, works for you because he deserves to work at a much more reputable establishment and I hope he realizes he needs to move on. I’m a supervisor in my field, and I would have fired Joe and Francisco on the spot. If I was above Ray, he’d be fired with disciplinary action. More
