First, let me explain that I have never owned a Volvo (now I will ONLY own Volvos) and wasn't really interested in test driving one. My husband insisted that I try one, so I reluctantly agreed. Matt was very understanding and encouraged me to test drive my first choice, the XC40, which I loved. While I loved it, it was in high demand and I needed something quickly. Matt suggested the V60 CrossCountry. It was perfect! Matt and his team (Shaun Hayes you are AWESOME) worked very late, past closing, to get me out of my rental and into my first Volvo. I started communicating with Bob couple of months ago when Volvo XC40 was introduced. at that time being a new model, it was hot and dealers were charging MSRP. I waited couple of months but Bob kept in touch with me, sending periodic emails on what was on sale or the special deals Smythe was running. finally in month of April, I called Bob and asked him what XC40 I was looking for with what options. Bob sent me four models that they had in their stock. one fit the bill and I went to make a deal with Bob. it was very pleasant visit. I worked on my excel sheet and he worked on his, we agreed on the price. later trade-in came into the play, where I was satisfied with the money they offered me. deal went smooth without any haggling, even the paper with finance manager went smooth. overall I am very happy with the car and Smythe dealership. I'l definitely recommend this dealership if someone is interested in Volvo cars. appreciate all the help and clean slate transaction for Bob and his team. Thank you. More
