I visited this dealership on Saturday, 11/1 curious to test drive a new Tacoma. I had a very reliable car, but was interested in what the Tacoma had to offer. The sales rep, Quincy was great. He was ve test drive a new Tacoma. I had a very reliable car, but was interested in what the Tacoma had to offer. The sales rep, Quincy was great. He was very easy to deal with, answered all my questions and ultimately saved the sale. It was when he pulled the sales "manager" Jeff into the equation that things took a turn for the worse. The definition of a negotiation is a conversation between two parties to achieve a mutually beneficial outcome. Every offer I made to Jeff was met with "No" and absolutely no counter offer. He made it seem like he was doing me a favor when again, I didn't even need the truck. He went so far as to tell me he wasn't going to make money, but we never moved on the sales price. Not wanting to be in his presence anymore, I said, "I have to think about it." He said, "OK" and then left. When Quincy came back I said, 'That guy just lost your sale" to which Jeff uttered "I didn't lose xxxx." Luckily, Quincy calmed me down and pulled in Jeff's boss to have a reasonable conversation. We had a good, respectful negotiation and agreed on terms. I'm sure in the end, Jeff doesn't think about it at all and I'm sure many other customers buckle under his pressure. I would gladly recommend Byers as long as Jeff is out of the equation. More

Not honest and up front for financing, sales manager is rude, the general manager does not answer. His phone, was promised that I would get a hold of the owner. Never have. No contact and I've called them many times. Was supposed to get friends and family discount for financing through Toyota, did not see that and 10 days later they had a 1.9% financing deal. Not up front and honest about stuff and rush you through the process and then tell you to deal with the financing office which said they had nothing to do with overall pricing. Management. There is terrible, and can't get a hold of anybody. More
