Simply the Best Car Dealership I've ever encountered Gateway Subaru is simply put the single best car dealer we've ever encountered. Salesman Steve Wergin is the most knowledgeable and non-pushy car salesperson we've ever met. He kept us fully informed all along, worked hard to find the car I wanted (when the model was just released, so no dealer had many of them yet), and since the sale has remained available for questions. The sales process, including negotiation and LACK of the usual pushiness to buy add-ons that weren't right for us, was our best experience ever. During and after the sale, everyone in the dealership has offered exemplary service -- from other salespeople to the service dept. and other staff -- when questions re: operating the new technology & features have arisen. Can't recommend them & Steve Wergin enough. After a month of use, appreciating the car as well: handling, acceleration, and braking are fine -- even compared to the Audi it replaced-- and really love knowing it has Subaru's legendary safety features! More

Mistake Brian, sold my son not 1 lemon, but had my son trade it in ( unbeknown to me !) for another lemon. the first one was a Jeep, second round a Dodge. Br Brian, sold my son not 1 lemon, but had my son trade it in ( unbeknown to me !) for another lemon. the first one was a Jeep, second round a Dodge. Brian took advantage of my son's age and inexperience. Tricked my son to " trust me I will help you " ! I took over trying to get the Dodge " repaired" by Gateway. Not only did they not know how..kept it for a month and Brian..racked up ( using it personally) 800 miles on it. Finally I got the finance company to investigate this. Sent the Dodge to a knowledgeable dealership for Dodge's. Beware of the " used car's " there for purchase. Sadly my son is NOT the only victim of this kind of " sales " at Gateway Suburu. More

Pleasant little drive around the block in the pre owned certified Forester convinced me to buy that car, but it was Don that convinced me to buy at Gateway. Everyone I talked to with was most efficient and I’m sure I will trade with Gateway and I will go to Don Scullen in the future! More

Excellent Experience I live over 5 hours away from Gateway Subaru but they had a car I was interested in purchasing for my adult son as a college graduation gift. So, sinc I live over 5 hours away from Gateway Subaru but they had a car I was interested in purchasing for my adult son as a college graduation gift. So, since this was essentially a long-distance deal, I knew that I had to be confident in it before making the drive up there. I contacted Brian Kang who was listed on their website as the Pre-Owned Sales Manager. Brian called me within an hour or so and we were able to negotiate a price for the car (he was very fair) assuming that it was presented accurately. Brian asked Kyle Hutchins to help me from that point and Kyle contacted me quickly. He provided me with additional photos and videos along with driving the car and giving me his impressions of it. All of this gave me the confidence to proceed with the deal. I drove up to pick the car up yesterday and I am happy to say that it was exactly as it was presented. Both Kyle and Brian were very friendly and easy to work with and we were able to close the deal just as we agreed. In summary, I had an excellent experience working with Kyle and Brian and I would highly recommend Gateway Subaru to anyone who is looking for a new or used car. More

2018 Chevy Sonic purchase i would like to personally thank Brian, Don and Zac for a professional and courteous sales transaction from an out of state buyer from New York on Fe i would like to personally thank Brian, Don and Zac for a professional and courteous sales transaction from an out of state buyer from New York on Feb 28 2019, upon finding the car in the only color i wanted online on there website, i have to honestly say, the complete sales transaction was as streamlined and straight forward as you can get .The car was represented as being as close to new as you can get with 3,770 miles on it upon arriving at the dealership after my 5 hour drive from long island new york and seeing the car hands on i was actually very impressed with the straight forward description of the car along with the look and layout of the dealership. I would also like to thank Don for for following me down 3 miles to Hertz in Salisbury to return my one way rental. Thats what i call customer service Thanks again guys keep up the good work. More

6 Subaru vehicles purchased, won't go anywhere else A Forester for me and my growing family started this journey. Since, my husband, my father, and I have returned and purchased a total of six Subaru vehicles from Gateway and quite honestly I wouldn't think of going anywhere else. The staff is caring, courteous, listens to your wants and needs, truly takes care of their customers without the typical haggling. The sales staff still says hello when in for a service and you aren't forgotten just because you aren't in for a purchase. The service department is honest and non demeaning, they don't speak down to their customers and make it understandable to their customers what is needed and costs, no pulling a fast one over on someone who isn't a mechanic. Hands down, I recommend Gateway Subaru for sales and service, they're simply the best. More
