When in the buying process I expressed concern about the transmission several times, and the salesman acted as though I was crazy. I asked point blank if the fluid had been changed in it, and he said that d transmission several times, and the salesman acted as though I was crazy. I asked point blank if the fluid had been changed in it, and he said that doing so was a part of their regular checks, as with the engine oil and other fluids. After my purchase it was evident the engine oil hadn’t been changed, but the dealer said they’d change it the next day. However I was still led to believe the transmission fluid had been serviced. However, I quickly found out I had been misled. 30 days after purchasing the vehicle, the transmission went out, with significant shavings in the transmission fluid. When I called back to DeHaven I was told that they had no record of the fluid being changed, and that they would do nothing to help this issue. So now I’m stuck with a bill that if over 40% of the cost of the vehicle because I was misled during the sales process. I will not be purchasing from DeHaven again. More

Overall pretty good, our vehicle has some uncommon issues. It seems there is no way to document issues and owner info on our vehicles profile page, so that all those issues are there for all to see. I issues. It seems there is no way to document issues and owner info on our vehicles profile page, so that all those issues are there for all to see. I have needed to re-explain issues and cause every time I spoke to someone different. I also feel the dealership should talk to GM on our behalf, about our Issue rather than us needing to contact GM ourselves More

Went in for a recall on my Traverse. I called in to schedule, provided my VIN and scheduled the following week. (This is my daughter's vehicle for college so it was important that we too I called in to schedule, provided my VIN and scheduled the following week. (This is my daughter's vehicle for college so it was important that we took advantage of her being home over the summer and ready for the fall.)I arrived, and upon check in was informed the part needed for the repair needed to be ordered and it would be 3 weeks before arrival. I explained my confusion as to why this wasn't done when I called for the recall repair to begin with, especially since the VIN was provided to confirm it was part of the recall. No explanation for the lack of awareness. I had rearranged my schedule and my daughter's commitments to drop of the vehicle and be without it for an afternoon. I got a call about 3 weeks later to schedule. I scheduled and asked how long the repair would take so we could plan appropriately. I was told "not even an hour, probaly like 30 min." My daughter brought in the vehicle planning to stay during the repair. Upon check in, she was told 2- 3 hrs. I then left work to pick her up. While en route home, I got a call saying the work was done. This was about 40 mins after her drop off. The individuals working were pleasant and professional but there is a serious lack of consideration for the time of the consumer. I suspect this is a lack of communication on their end, versus intentional. Nonetheless, I would not buy a vehicle from DeHaven or go for a repair except for those necessitated by a recall. More

I went in to DeHaven service late June for 60K service. It was 3 in the afternoon. They said they could not replace the spark plugs. The engine needed to be cooled, and it was too late. So, I scheduled It was 3 in the afternoon. They said they could not replace the spark plugs. The engine needed to be cooled, and it was too late. So, I scheduled a separate appointment for a morning. I took the car in around 7:50. I was told it would take several hours. I was done by 8:35. This makes no sense. If I had to schedule a separate appointment, why didn't the online scheduling service prevent a late afternoon appointment?? Ever since this dealership became DeHaven, it has gone down. I realize the car wash is complimentary, but it is now terrible. The after wash rinse used to last 20 or 25 seconds. It now lasts about 3 seconds. More
