I have purchased vehicles in NY, DE, MD, IL, FL, NJ and not once has anyone asked for that. Long story short, not only was Rallye unprepared, they were unsympathetic to their mistake. I was never offered a coffee or water, I was basically told to leave because god forbid I express my disgust in public. Worst experience I have ever had purchasing a car, I guess that's how business is done in Long Island. Luckily, after having the car checked out at Otto's BMW, I at least purchased a car with little to no issues. More
