Accurately and superbly reinforcing every negative stereotype Used Car Salespeople have so richly earned. Sold me a defective vehicle, as evidenced by the truly excessive number of service appointments necessitated. When I had the audacity to complain, I was informed that “machines break”. As if this sentiment isn’t in direct contravention to Hondas principle selling point; reliability. Of course machines break, but when they are marketed specifically as the most reliable option, exceptions should be treated as such to maintain the image. As a solution, I was offered a trade. As if I hadn’t been spammed with the exact same offer twice weekly since initially purchasing the vehicle. This is not a self-aware business methodology. The service department however, is excellent. Consistent, effective, polite and reasonable. A real shame about the used car appendage being such a predictable boat anchor of a business. They survive entirely because MOST Hondas are great, and they sell themselves. More
