I was born in Thailand and moved to the U.S. in 1996. I attended Lafayette High School and the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. I used to be a Karate instructor until I joined the U.S. Army. I have a beautiful wife and 3 amazing little boys. I have been with Hampton Toyota for over 9 years now and enjoy what I do. Let's state the obvious, you've spent many hours researching and have a good idea of what you want before walking into a dealership. You already expect to be treated unfairly and in this industry there's decades of less-than-honest reputation for me to overcome. The best part of my job is changing the public's perspective of what a "salesman" is and their past experiences purchasing a vehicle. Mr Kerri was very patient with me, and showed me everything we needed to know on the new vehicle that we bought, he was very very patient with us as I try to decide what vehicle and if I actually wa everything we needed to know on the new vehicle that we bought, he was very very patient with us as I try to decide what vehicle and if I actually wanted to go with Toyota or not. So I just wanna say thank you and I do appreciate all his help. I would definitely recommend him for anyone in the market for a new or used car. More

I walked on the lot after being turned down at another dealership.. I was a little hurt and upset about being turned down for my dream truck.. Chai came over with a great attitude! I was looking for something used initially and drove off the lot with a brand new 2021 Toyota Tacoma.. Chai means what he says when he says he wants to change the vision or mindset behind a “car salesman” I felt so confident in buying from Chai he had great people skills and was very knowledgeable about every vehicle I asked about.. he truly made my dream come true with doing any and everything he could to make sure I left happy and satisfied! I feel different about car salesmen now thanks to him.. I had the best experience buying my 2020 Toyota Tundra, and Chai Phumsorn was the man that gave me that experience!!! I was searching online for a tundra, and I was literally over 800 miles away when I cam and Chai Phumsorn was the man that gave me that experience!!! I was searching online for a tundra, and I was literally over 800 miles away when I came across a 2020 Toyota Tundra at Hampton Toyota. I inquired about the truck, and I received a call from Chai about 10mins later. He was very knowledgeable about the truck, and he was able to answer all my questions. He also was able to make me a great offer that I couldn't refuse, so How could I say no to that!!! Chai was phenomenal to work with, because he went Above and Beyond to get the deal done. He made me feel very comfortable buying a truck site unseen. Made the deal on Tuesday, and Friday morning, I flew into Lafayette, LA. Chai was right there to pick me up, and shuttle me to the dealership. The whole process was flawless!!! I trusted him with the process, and he Delivered!!!! Thanks, Chai Phumsorn.
