The dealership was very clean and the sails people were very nice, willing to work with you on what you are needing budget wise but also were not trying to shove a sale down our throats, we are still waiti very nice, willing to work with you on what you are needing budget wise but also were not trying to shove a sale down our throats, we are still waiting on a bank to approve our loan but instead of them making us sit there for hours to find out if we were approved they let us head home in the vehicle and said they would get back to us that week with the update More

I'll never understand why many dealerships insist on being underhanded. I honestly believe it's a game to these people: testing how much they can get away with. My wife and I visited the showroom jus being underhanded. I honestly believe it's a game to these people: testing how much they can get away with. My wife and I visited the showroom just to look and take a test drive. We were ready to leave and possibly return another day after thinking it over, but we were told that if we purchased that evening, we'd get a good out-the-door price associated with their Memorial Day "sale." The 2024 Santa Fe SEL with 35k miles was definitely priced on the high side at around $30k. However, we negotiated what we understood to be an out-the-door price, meaning price plus fees, not including tax, for around $30k. We signed the papers and drove away. After returning home, I realized they actually hadn't discounted anything. Huge mistake on my part for not checking the details before signing, I know. They also didn't walk us through the price breakdown, which is usually done during signing. I contacted them anyway about the discrepancy. They know what they did, but they also know I have no real legal recourse, so they denied everything. Also, when you buy a used car from them, they make you sign an "As-Is" form. They said it was "just a formality" and that if anything was wrong, they'd fix it. Well, yeah, they'll fix it... for money. Three days after purchase, we discovered that the brakes shake and shimmy when applied at speeds around 80 mph, something we did not check for during the test drive. The rotors are warped. That's a $1,200 brake job. You want to trust people, but in my experience, that's a mistake. Don't trust anyone at a car dealership. They have a huge bag of tricks. Whether it's wrapping you into a high-interest loan because they get kickbacks, or promising you things they have no intent on giving you, they have plenty of ways to get you. Write down exactly what you're looking for, what you want to check during the test drive, the agreed price, fees, and everything else. Then check all of the numbers before signing. Car salesmen are no different from the way they were back in the 1960s and 1970s. Gimmicks and bait-and-switch tactics. I'm old enough to know better, too. Shame on me... More

I just had a Stellar buying experience with a salesman named Chance, at Phil Long Hyundai. He was upfront and transparent about all financial options as well as leasing options, associated mileage, and th named Chance, at Phil Long Hyundai. He was upfront and transparent about all financial options as well as leasing options, associated mileage, and the purchase after lease or trade-up options that would negate any mileage charge. This was after he found a beautiful new Tucson with all the abilities and features that we were looking for. So we went with a lease. When I was a little short on the down payment and thought the monthly payment was too high, Chance worked with his manager Luis to get us a zero down option with a slightly lower monthly payment that was within our budget. We are very satisfied customers. If you are even thinking about a new vehicle, call Chance at Phil Long Hyundai. He will take care of you and find you the perfect car and a deal to match. Thanks Chance. More

"Buyer Beware". This dealership sold me a used car that blew the engine head gaskets less than 3,000 miles later most likely due to a crack in the radiator. Clearly This dealership sold me a used car that blew the engine head gaskets less than 3,000 miles later most likely due to a crack in the radiator. Clearly, no engine pressure tests were done prior to the sale, even though they claim their mechanics check used cars thoroughly prior to a sale. Management basically shrugged their shoulders, could care less. I had to invest another $6000 dollars to replace the engine and radiator into an $8700 dollar car. I will never do business with Phil Long Hyundai again, nor recommend them to anyone. More
