I am a born and raised Tucsonan, and am now raising my 3 kiddos here with my wife. I love my job working for a fantastic local mom and pop dealership here at Tucson Subaru. I got started in this business helping out around my grandfathers Chevron service station when I was a little guy, and haven't left the auto business since. I started off in the dealer world as a Service Adviser in 2004. I was in service here at Subaru starting in 2010 before I started on the sales side in 2014. For us, the Outback sells itself as far as the function and value, but Trent and Sean helped to answer questions and explain the benefits so we understood what we were getting. After test driving the vehicle I made an offer for the car through email with the dealer I was working with. They accepted my offer right away. The negotiation process went very well. The dealer I worked with was very helpful when I test drove the car and through the purchasing process. He was exceptionally helpful, knowledgeable, and very kind--without being at all pushy, which meant a great deal to us! He spoke to us about the merits of the car we were seeking out and was able to answer all of the questions we posed to him. He communicated effectively to an e-mail I sent out to him on Tuesday night and when we returned to the dealership on Thursday he was immediately ready to lend any and all assistance to my wife and I. Even when we informed him we were going to visit the competition (Honda) with the potential of our purchasing a car from them, he was very gracious and understanding, but I think he knew we had been mightily impressed with his acumen. We returned in mid-afternoon to finalize the purchase of a Subaru Outback through him and Steve was soooooo helpful in taking us through every step we needed to attend to. We were so relieved to have the chance to work with such a magnificent salesperson. This was a very memorable experience! Best Car Purchase We Have Ever Made My wife and I had been contemplating a new car for over a year. This would be our third new car, and we had a system for dealing with all the grief th My wife and I had been contemplating a new car for over a year. This would be our third new car, and we had a system for dealing with all the grief that dealerships give. Lots of research before ever going to a dealership. We ask ourselves what we want, what we need, and what we can afford. Then it's time to start test driving, have a plan before hand so we can get through the speeches and sales pitches, just to actually try out the car - hopefully get a feel for it on the stupidly short drive. After all that start the games with the actual purchasing.....But Wait....Tucson Subaru was something different. The staff understood personal space. Allowed us to look at cars and mess with the interiors. Asked appropriate questions, like they wanted to help you find the right car to look at. We took an actual test drive on roads that actually test if it will be quiet and comfortable to live with. They actually know the cars on their lot, this might not seem special...but I'm a mechanic and love to know everything about any car I'm looking at - I've never been to a dealership where no one was incorrect or incompetent. Sales and finance staff were nice, personable, and didn't present themselves with "an aggressive sale attitude", more along the lines of presenting information/options and making suggestions. This was the third time I had been to this dealership looking at cars, and have interacted with at least 10 separate employees, all were excellent. Although I only had extended interactions with two. I loved the dealership and my experience. More

1st used car purchase I have never purchased a used car from a dealer before, and am generally leery of pressure sales tactics. Rudy Burneo was informative, responsive, helpful and never pushy. He had great patience with letting my 18 yr old son do the test drive (the car is for him), even though he stalled it (manual transmission) once. Rudy always answered my calls, or returned a call promptly if unavailable. When I called once needing to get a message to the finance person (who was unavailable), Rudy acted as my willing go-between, making sure the message got through. I also appreciated working with Curt, in finance, he was quick to help me resolve a problem even though trying to get ready to leave for vacation. When I purchase my next new car, I will definitely consider Subaru, and will ask for Rudy! More

He was very kind and considerate, not pushy at all, and very interested in making sure I received the vehicle that would suit my backpacking and sporty lifestyle. He was very patient - as I am slow to make major decisions. When the time was right, he put it all together for me and I now have a vehicle that is perfect for my lifestyle. I highly recommend Rudy as he is quite interested in making sure the customer is happy with their purchase. Plus, he is fun to work with! Nice guy. Curt was also sweet and efficient on the financial end, very nice to work with. More
