Cedar Rapids Toyota employees were great to work with and very knowledgeable in each department from sales to finance. Steve answered all our questions and helped to find the car that fit our needs. Curt explained the safety packages, financial options, licensing and registration . Making the whole process very timely to fit our needs as return customers. They are very professional and courteous employees. We would also like to thank the service department for the great care and service they have given our cars over the years.

I used the web to see what was offered for a replacement for my wife's 2012 Hyundai.
This was after evaluating vehicles that met my criteria in Consumers Report. I also researched the Consumer Reports for small size SUV as a replacement for my Subaru Forester. Further evaluated the selected models on NHTSA website. I then did a web search of 3 manufacturer's dealers in the Cedar Valley Corridor. I contacted each with inquiry on their website. I was able to converse with the representative at 2 dealerships, both Toyota. I talked with Alan and put a hold on the listed vehicle. Next morning I went down to the CR Toyota with the inventory listing and a firm price from Alan Makabi. I test drove the Toyota Corolla LE and was impressed with the car, its features and rebate offer. Trade price was acceptable for the 2012 Hyundai. After the purchase was made I heard from the other dealer that day but still did not have a firm price from the previous evening.
I test drove the Rav4 that same day and arranged for purchase the next day with a firm price, drove the Corolla LE home and returned next day with the trade in Subaru.
Alan was meticulous in explaining the vehicles to me along with their safety features. I test drove both in a suitable nearby road circuit that allowed evaluation of both roadability on rough road and highway conditions.
The service department was neat with clean floors and the customers awaiting service were positive about the Toyota brand being loyal repeat customers. Dealer location was close to Waterloo and with easy off highway access.

From my first inquiry on the Internet, until I signed for my new truck, Alan Makabi was on his game. Prompt answers to my questions, and his numbers worked the first time, no bs back and forth. The dealership was sparkling and the staff was friendly. Curt in finance had his spiel down pat and was very informational and low pressure. This was my first Toyota purchase, we'll be back soon for a new car for the wife. Can't stress enough how professional the CR Toyota crew was.

I would highly recommend checking this dealership out first when in the market. I contacted Terry Helgeson about a vehicle they didn’t have but I was looking for. As soon as he received one on trade he contacted me. It’s of course now setting in our garage. Terry was great to work with and showed us all of the tricks and tips on driving our new hybrid as well as all the options. We were not buying a high dollar vehicle but you would never know that by the service we were given. Also want to thank Curt Wiedemeier, great friendly guy and he kept the paperwork simple. When the time comes to upgrade this will be our first stop.

My experience with CR Toyota has been exceptional! I dreaded the thought of purchasing another vehicle but through a referable of a good & trusted friend I found a sales person I could trust. If you're in the market for a quality vehicle, I would recommend Terry Helgeson as your sales consultant. Not only was Terry helpful in the sales process, but I never once had the impression of pressure to buy a vehicle from this dealership. I might add, that Curt Weidemeier was extremely helpful in putting the financial part of the deal in layman's terms - a very good experience all around.
